聖喬瓦尼莊園 - 伊波卡收藏(Masseria San Giovanni - Epoca Collection)

Capotiamo quasi per caso di ritorno dalle vacanza in questa masseria immersa nelle campagne di Fasano. Devo dire che l’accoglienza di Eva ragazza polacca trasferitasi per amore in Puglia è’ stata superlativa. Raramente cito nomi di dipendenti di hotel ma in questo caso siamo stati accolti come da una proprietaria di casa ansiosa di accogliere tutte le nostre richieste. Peccato essere rimasti solo una notte ma sicuramente torneremo. Unico consiglio come drink di benvenuto consiglierei di offrire un bicchiere di vino locale piuttosto che un anonimo prosecco. Per il resto ottima esperienza anche per il prezzo corretto.

Bela hospedagem. Quartos espaçosos e confortáveis, uma pequena piscina na varanda para relaxar, serviço simpático e eficiente, wi fi funcionando corretamente, um jardim lindo e muito bem cuidado com uma bela piscina perto disso tudo. Ótimo café da manhã. Não dá para querer mais ...

No tiene restaurante . Te dan un plato de pasta con tomate de cena cocinado por la chica que sirve los cócteles y te cobran 12 euros por persona. Las habitaciones están bien y las zonas comunes también. La zona del salón no es nada confortable. No invita a quedarte allí leyendo tomando algo. Han de darle más calidez a la masseria y abrir un restaurante con un/a chef digno/a del lugar.

Tutto stupendo! Ottima colazione homemade ricca e gustosa. Soggiorno nella pace e tranquillità dei paesaggi che lo circondano, colmato dall’eccellenza presenza dello Staff che conferma la qualità del servizio offerto. Ci torneremo sicuramente !

The buildings are restored beautifully, keeping original architecture and tools. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The pool is not very large. The restaurant is quite basic, so it’s better to have car to go out for dinner. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice place, specially due to the team. Pasqua and Antonio (sorry, not 100% sure it was his name, the security guy that slept there) were simply amazing. Also Veronica and Noemi were super kind, professional and always helpful.

Based on the website and Trip Advisor pictures I was looking forward to the experience, however, when we checked in our room looked nothing like any of the pictures I'd seen online. It was tiny, with a ceiling that curved so that my 6'2 husband could only stand in the very center of the room. The bathroom and shower were both pushed under the curving sections, making for an extremely claustrophobic experience, and the shower door didn't seal, so that after showering water had seeped all over the small room. My husband went to the front desk to explain this issue and ask if they had another room we could switch to--they handed him some spare pool towels and that was the extent of the customer care we got. At this point it was late at night and we decided to stay for the evening but check out the next day, as there were many nearby spots to stay, and asked at the front desk for them to please charge us for the one night we were there but not the next one. They said since we'd prepaid both nights they would charge us for both, even though the room was clearly nothing like we'd been lead to believe. I've stayed in a whole bunch of hostels and one star hotels all over the world, so I'm pretty tolerant of the hiccups that can happen when traveling, but I've never been so surprised at the discrepancy between what was advertised and what was actually there, followed by such poor customer care. I think this business is only surviving because the region is beautiful and their website is so excellent. Two stars because while tiny the pool was fun, the breakfast was tasty (super slow but that's southern Italy for you!), and our friends who didn't get stuck with tiny annex rooms had a much nicer experience.

We spent two nights at San Giovanni. We were on a business trip with other six people and needed to have high level service and tranquility. We could not have found a better spot. The room was elegant, super clean and quiet, with a stunning view over the landscape. The service was impeccable (the staff is young, helpful and kind). We look forward to coming back to San Giovanni and spend more nights there. This place is a refugee for peaceful souls. Utmost good taste, elegance and silence. We will come back soon! I wrote in my *********** review that this property had fine facilities and a good location, but was not as nice as other masserias we stayed at in the area for the same price point. Also, I noted that the pool was small and did not have many lounge chairs. This review seems to have upset the same person who sent us a WhatsApp message when we left asking us to leave a 10/10 review (which we found tacky), who went to the trouble of responding to my review to argue that (1) we only stayed for one night and (2) they allowed additional guests who were not preregistered to stay in the room. Those factors do nothing to change the fact that we did not find this to be a good value stay, or that the pool area felt small to us. While those structural items can’t be fixed, surely someone better can be assigned to interact with traveler reviews.
