This hotel is barely a few months old and you can tell. Having said that ; for what it lacks , the staff really make up for it. They will go above and beyond beyond to make sure you are happy. I do feel for them as sometimes they have to compensate for something they can’t control. Positive : staff attitude , Mr. Emek and his team are amazing. Patient , thoughtful and always smiling. The hotel is beautiful , rooms spacious and curtains offer a total blackout for a lie in in the morning. The location is the best as from walking distance to all major attractions and nearby restaurants and a few bars. Breakfast was nice. Room for improvement : mobile key doesn’t work , no pool, sauna barely hot, steam room not working , no price on mini bar , instead you have to go through a tideous process combining TV , Phone and QR code to get 1 price. It was quicker for us to go out and buy a drink from the supermarket or the bar. Rooftop still under construction. If you give it a few months it’ll be one of the best hotels in Istanbul.

Top notch, five star, hotel! This is a brand new establishment, but they have sister locations on the same street and brought some of their absolute best staff along to start up this hotel. The craftsmanship of the rooms and lobby is superb, the included breakfast for elite guests is authentic and delicious, and the location is IDEAL, but the thing that really stands out is the staff. The team at Orient Occident worked together in a way that the right hand always knew what the left was up to. For example: when my wife commented to the cleaning crew how much she likes the body scrub, the front desk took note and had a care package made for us. Taking that a step further, instead of management bringing us the gift, they entrusted someone from the breakfast team to bring us the gift. Nothing ever happened at the hotel, that the entire staff wasn’t made aware of! If you asked one teammate a question in the night shift, then the day shift made dilute to verify you were happy. Perfect service, a wonderful and special experience, and a location I would recommend to anyone visiting Istanbul. Note: I spent over 100nights in Marriott last year, and I have never left a review this positive!

For this being a new hotel, I have to say that this is one of the nicest stays I've had a hotel ever! Let me start by saying that the staff here were incredibly kind and some of the nicest group of people I've ever met. When my partner and I were trying to figure out a way to use the metro to get to the other side of Istanbul, the staff were so kind that one of them offered us his own personal metro card and the other walked us to the metro station to show us which line we should get on - just the kindest act I've come across! The hotel is maintained very well and the rooms are very elegant. The location of the hotel is also very ideal because you are close to many of the tourist attractions in the old city. The hotel has a gym which has all the amenities that you'd need. The rooftop was still under renovation when I visited so didn't have the chance to check it out but I am sure it will look incredible by the time it is finished. If you are reading this review and the newness of the hotel is making you hesitate, I am here to tell you don't! This is an excellent hotel with the finest group of staff you will ever meet. My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable hotel in Istanbul. Despite being a fairly new hotel, the superb hospitality stood out and made our stay exceptional. From the warm welcome of each and every staff to the amenities of the hotel, every moment was a delight. I am confident that the hotel boasts the best in Istanbul, offering impeccable service and attention to detail. One of the highlights was the fantastic breakfast – Turkish culinary delight with a diverse array of delectable options. The rooms were not only comfortable but also well-equipped with modern amenities, ensuring a luxurious and relaxing stay. This hotel has undoubtedly set a high standard for hospitality in Istanbul. I would like to highlight the below staffs that contributes to this unforgettable experience. Emek - I must commend Emek, the manager, for his continuous efforts in ensuring our stay was comfortable. His passion for the hospitality industry and engagement with guests highlight his dedication. His sharing of the company brands and the history of The Autograph Collection demonstrated his deep knowledge and commitment to the company. His thoughtful gesture of preparing my wife's favorite Turkish delight - Lokum, on our last day, truly exemplifies the level of personal touch service that makes this hotel stand out by far. Emek is a valuable asset to the company. Yana - Yana went above and beyond in showing us around the hotel premises during our check-in process. Her friendly and approachable demeanor instantly made us feel welcome. Yana's helpful attitude and easygoing nature made the entire experience not just smooth but genuinely enjoyable. In an industry where customer service is paramount, Yana's dedication to ensuring guests feel comfortable and valued is truly commendable. Burak - Burak went above and beyond to guide us in using the local transport system. His willingness to help and his clear, concise explanations truly set him apart. We are grateful for his dedication to ensuring visitors like us have a positive and stress-free experience. His professionalism and helpfulness have left a lasting impression on us.

Most amazing service , friendly staff, personalized experience, and amazing location near all the touristic attractions. Thanks to the amazing staff for this experience. I definitely recommend whether you are coming as a couple, for business or with family!

The Orient is a fabulous hotel hidden away from the bustle of old Istanbul. Walking distance from all the great locations, this boutique property offers 5* service, cool rooms, opulent breakfast and nothing is too much of a request for the team. Pre dinner drinks at the bar or a short walk to the roof top terrace at the sister property, I would highly recommend this hotel. Emek and team- a huge thank you for all your kindness during our stay! All the recommendations were fantastic and wish you all the best!

I choose this hotel because of Marriott standards and location, hotel is easy walk for historical places especially if you are tourist , Best staff service ever had breakfast was tasty , been informed by walkin there is sister property has Jazz Club absolutely recommend this historical hotel
