Vilket fantastiskt ställe! Service och framförallt MATEN, WOW!!

Jättefint slott! Trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Vi reste med en massa hundar och det fanns många rum som tillät det. God frukost. Vackra omgivningar!

We had an absolutely amazing weekend stay at this beautiful castle! The castle rooms are newly renovated and really stunning, food is outstanding and the gardens lovely! The castle is located by a lake where you can swim and also, during the winter, spend time in a hot tub on the lakeshore. Service also very good. This place has a wonderful ambience, while at the same time, you feel like Royalty. I highly recommend a visit to Bäckaskog - it's a real treat in the most beautiful surroundings.

We had an absolutely amazing weekend stay at this very nice old castle. We had booked a weekend package with dinner and breakfast included. We had a room in the castle. Very nice room with great view. The castle has a park where we took a walk. Located by a lake, Our dinner was outstanding. So very good and cooked to perfection. Great service. We stayed at the Park house 150m from the hotel. This was a house with a corridor of entrances to each room. The bad: The room was very dated and felt more like a low cost camping cottage. Room was not that clean, plenty of dust under bed, dust and spider web in bathroom etc. Entrance to the house was full of spider web on the wall and should be cleaned up. The good: Staff was very helpful and nice! The surrounding nature and castle was great! Breakfast was a good continental breakfast in a cosy old stable.

God service och vacker miljö, maten ok men inte mer

Allt var bra utom att det inte fanns vanligt svart te på den stora frukostbuffén. Efter 5 min hade man dock lyckats hitta två tepåsar.

Bra vistelse i ett av husen utanför slottet. Fin natur att promenera på. God frukost med lite enklare utbud. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal! Ett stort minus är den otroligt parfymerade tvål som erbjuds på badrummen. Borde vara mer standard att använda milt parfymerade eller oparfymerade alternativ som passar även känsliga och allergiker.
