So many things went wrong! First there was black mold in the hallway ceiling outside our room. It didn’t end up affecting us, but it gave a bad first impression. Then the hot tub was cold. The TV in our room didn’t work. I did call the front desk about the TV, he said he would come fix it, but an hour went by and nobody had come yet. I called again and he said he forgot. When he did come he still couldn’t fix it, and the hotel was 100% full so he couldn’t change our room. He said he’d leave a note to give us a discount on the room, but we never saw a discount. The next day we never got our room cleaned even though a sign in the bathroom said they change sheets and towels daily. Our key card was only activated for one day, even though we had a reservation for two nights, and it took forever for someone to come to the front desk to reactivate it. Upon checkout, nobody was at the desk again to check us out, and I wanted to follow up about the TV, the remote was taken from the room when they tried to fix it, so I wanted to make sure they knew it wasn’t us that took the remote. Nobody ever came and we had an event to get to so we just left the key at the front desk and left. Checkout was at noon and we were at the desk at 11:30, it’s not like it was an odd time, not sure why it was deserted. The only redeeming qualities were that the hot tub got fixed the second day and breakfast was good.
