Was a good find. Very central on a posh street. Old fashion European glamour. Not modern or chic but comfortable and nice. Feels Old World. Staff was not friendly at all- reception or the breakfast room. Prices was "good" for the location and size of the room. "Not mad at it" as the kids say....

La camera, documentata in foto, risultava ridotta e poco pulita, emanando un cattivo odore di umidità. Nonostante i tentativi di regolare la temperatura da parte del personale, l'ambiente era freddo perché non funzionava. Dopo aver insistito per un cambio, la nuova stanza, seppur leggermente più moderna, manteneva la scarsa pulizia e offriva una doccia angusta anche per chi come me è longilineo. Il personale della colazione è stato gentile. Nonostante la classificazione a 4 stelle, la mia valutazione si assegnerebbe a un massimo di 3 stelle.

Lovely hotel. Like entering a 1960’s hotel. Elegant. Stylish. A bit decadent. A place to meet Claudia Cardinale, Gina Lollobrigida or Sophia Loren in those years. The only thing I did not like was the strange smell in my room.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel de la Ville very much and would definitely return.

I have been coming to this hotel for many years. It is a beautiful property in the finest location in Florence. It is in the heart of the city center, walking distance to all places. The rooms are lovely and immaculate! The service and staff are the best! This is an A place to stay in Florence.

Great location and price was reasonable. Leaving the room key at the front desk every time I left was a little strange but I was glad I stayed here.

This hotel is in a superior location to walk everywhere in Florence. The staff is attentive and friendly. They made sure we had the right type of room and it was pretty and comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning. If I had a concern it would be the heat was not easy to control. In the hotel’s defense we did not complain about it. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Tutto perfetto! Posizione eccellente, accoglienza molto gentile. Ambiente in generale piacevole e curato. Camera pulita ed ordinata. Colazione top per gamma e qualità prodotti. Personale gentile e sorridente.

The hotel is conviniently located close to the shopping, turist attractions and dining options. the room was nica and very clean. The BIG problem we had is that internet didn't work in our room. We had to go down to the lobby/launch area to use internet. Every morning I reported this problem to the receptionsts, asked them to write down my complains and it was neve addressed. At the end the hotel manager told us that it was never brought to his attention, otherwise he would do something about it.
