西羅斯加貝爾霍弗酒店(Hotel Schloss Gabelhofen)

Wir waren vor 4 Jahren schon einmal Gast im Schloss Gabelhofen und waren restlos begeistert. Aus diesem Grund freuten wir uns schon sehr auf unseren Aufenthalt, wurden aber von der ersten Sekunden an völlig enttäuscht. Service und Küche (bis auf zwei wirklich sehr bemühte und Freundliche Damen in der Bar und beim Frühstück) total enttäuscht. Ich möchte hier gar nicht jedes Detail anführen, es ist für mich ein Paradebeispiel wie man ein Haus innerhalb weniger Jahre völlig an die Wand fahren kann. Beim Checkout haben wir einige Highlights angeführt und man hat uns versichert dass man dies "nach Oben" weiterleiten wird. Ich möchte gar nicht wissen wie es "da Oben" aussieht! :-(

Alles klopt hier: de entree, het terras, het menu, de wijnkaart en de bediening. We kozen een 5-gangen menu en we gingen van hoogtepunt naar hoogtepunt. De rekening was er natuurlijk ook naar, maar soms moet je dat gewoon eens doen. Echt genieten hier!

Mickriges Frühstück

Das Hotel ist mehr als top, schöne saubere Zimmer, grosszügiges Frühstücksbuffet, ausgezeichnetes Restaurant, wirklich alles top, nichts negatives, ausreichend Parkplätze, Personal extrem freundlich und kompetent, werden wieder dort wohnen

Hotel is located in a small village a little bit out of the path. But for us it was ok because we travel with the dog so he had enough space for walks in nature. We had a deluxe room. It was quite modern, spacious. For our dog they prepared a dog kit. Aqua terme Aqualux is next to the hotel, and the hotel gives you a free entry. Service is superfriendly. Dinners were great, also breakfasts. There is nothing to eat around so you will probably eat in the hotel. Around 40 min by food there is a shopping center close to the main road if You need something. Generally great hotel, with warm service, great food, for people who want to rest from the big cities.

A beautiful place to stay. We extended our stay in order to continue to enjoy the castle and its facilities.

The Hotel is very nice. Staff very friendly and helpful. The restaurant very good, with very tasty food. The wine list is long and comprehensive. However, they served a warm white wine, which was not acceptable. The rooms are of good size and bathroom well sorted with nice showers. WiFi is very weak and that’s a problem. Parking is a bit away from Hotel, but No help offered with luggage. The Hotel Lobby can be a bit loud and you hear people talking in your room.

Amazing medieval castle turned high end hotel. Superb hotel cuisine. Staff that would go above and beyond to satisfy any given request. All amidst a beautiful Austrian countryside.

Absolutely beautiful architecture. Unique gorgeous rooms. The staff are very helpful and kind. The restaurant and service are +10! Treated with much care. Wine cellar tour and history of the castle. Wonderful stay after a day at the Red Bull Ring Formula 1 races.
