普勞酒店(Plough Hotel)

Hotel room was well cleaned and tidy, and it's view from the room to outside also good for me particularly its near to public transport which helps me access public transportation. Over all 10/10

Well located. Convenient to airport and city. Bus stop right outside the door., but plenty of car parking too. Room was clean and staff friendly and helpful. Rooms are on upper floor, so one flight of stairs involved. Rooms well insulated from 'bar' noise. (I slept well), and upper area has security door lock. We ate at restaurant on three nights of stay and enjoyed every one. I would definitely book here again.

$38 fish of the day was barramundi with mash potato and fennel. I don't expect mash with fish at a nice restaurant. I asked for steam vegetables instead of mash. Waiter said they would charge me for steam vegetable as "side" which is $14...seriously! What a rip off! I was served with a poorly presented basic salad with barramundi definitely didn't worth $38.

Went for dinner and the service was from the waitresses was very ordinary. Asked to be seated elsewhere and not in the doorway only to be told tables were booked and they remained empty for the whole time we were there. Ordered a medium rare steak and it was over cooked and the salad was a bunch of lettuce. Expect a little better for $38 dollar steak. On an a positive the Parmas are very good and a decent size. No sooner had we finished we were rushed out the place. Won’t be going back.

Caught up with family over the break at the Plough Hotel for lunch. Overall a very disappointing experience! Meals 1 steak and 2 steak sandwiches. Steak eater said that it was very so so. Steak sandwich eaters either encountered the hardest bread on bottom part of their sandwich or the bluntest steak knives because it was almost impossible to cut! Drinks were expensive - $5+ for an espresso coffee and $13+ for an ordinary mixed drink (not top shelf ingredients)

After a long day of flight delays we arrived at the Plough Hotel to a happy and warm welcome. The customer service, food, atmosphere and cleanliness of the room was exceptional. We will definitely return!

We liked the proximity from the hotel to our son’s place nearby. We also like the Asian cuisine and grocery shopping in the Footscray areas which you can either walk or drive from the hotel. The parking area at the back of the hotel is rather convenient but can be a little tricky in the evening. Obviously the hotel restaurant is quite popular with locals so we found that out on Saturday night. We had to park on the street and wait until after 9 p.m. for the spot in the hotel car park. If you are a light sleeper like myself you might hear the sound of the traffic on the roads faintly. Overall it was a pleasant stay for us.

Nothing to like. I have been in hotels in over 30 countries but this is the only one where the toilet bowl leaked onto the floor when flushed. Horrible.

Reception was very helpful. I really loved dinner at the hotel aswell I would visit again.
