林奇堡希爾頓Tru酒店(Tru by Hilton Lynchburg)

This is the highest rating i have ever given a hotel. I stay in about 100 hotels a year and this is one of my favorite hotels. Fom the outside of the hotel being clean and nice, to the lady at the front desk being great to deal with. The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. I will stay at this hotel in the future even if it is out of the way.

Would have been 5 stars except for the front desk staff. During both interactions with them they were disinterested and almost imposed upon to help. Their friends or family members were at the desk as well so perhaps it was more distracted than uncaring. Our breakfast attendant was friendly, however. Nice property though.

Tru is a clean and modern hotel and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. I love the laminate flooring in the room. The hotel smelled clean and fresh. Free breakfast, coffee and tea. The staff was friendly. Hotel is conveniently located near shopping. There is free parking on site however, the only suggestion is to add more spaces for parking (there should be at least 1 space per room).

I didn't appreciate the added fee of 25.00 to ensure that I would not trash the room. I was told with a smirk that the housekeeping staff would have to approve the condition of my room before I would given back the 25.00 fee. The free breakfast was not worth eating. Foods provided were mostly high carb and high sugar choices. The coffee tasted like brown water.

Surprisingly, my husband really liked this more-modern-than-our-typical Hilton Doubletree option. Stated several times that the lobby is wide-open, loved that there is no carpeting in the rooms, and was impressed with the carved ham at breakfast. For me, I appreciated Connie's homemade stewed apples with cinnamon. Not common on a breakfast bar. The other thing I appreciate is the comfortable mattress. We'd just spent 2 nights at a Doubletree and the bed was so firm my hips and shoulders were hurting. Not at TRU! The bed was so comfortable I slept as well as if I was at home. Staff was great as well.

This was my first time staying at a Tru location. I was very impressed with the entirety of our stay. We will definitely be staying at more Tru properties and will be back to the Lynchburg property in the future.

Everything was perfect. The hotel appears to be in a secluded area; however, you are 2 minutes away from shopping, eateries and the highway. The staff shared the shortcut!!!

Room is smaller than Hampton inn’s. Refrigerator had someone’s leftover food in it… gross.

Hotel staff was wonderful and friendly! Rooms super clean and just lovely all around!❤️
