I was on a “staycation” with my grandchildren, which I often do. Before booking the hotel, I went inside to ensure the pool, water slide & hot tub were operating. The desk clerk assured me they were. We quickly checked in; put our swimsuits on only to find the pool freezing cold & the hot tub not operating. The manager said it was a communication error as the hot tub hadn’t been working for weeks. On the plus side, they assured me they would refund my room charge for the night however, this meant changing, packing up & moving to Homes2Go, where everything was working. Additionally, I didn’t say anything but the holiday inn is also now looking very “tired”; super dark & the pool area was not clean
