Residence Inn National Harbor Washington, DC Area

I attended a convention at the Gaylord and the daily breakfast and the paved walkway to the Gaylord was very convenient. It was clean, the service was great and it was super quiet.

We’ve stayed in four hotels in National harbor for different sports events at the Gaylord. This is hands down our favorite. Front desk staff were all kind and welcoming the whole weekend. It’s right across from Gaylord with a handy pedestrian crosswalk that takes you to the back entrance / water side of Gaylord to access the convention center. Way less hectic / crazy than the Gaylord. Nice sized rooms. Great breakfast that was well stocked every morning. Parking right outside the back of the hotel. It’s no 5 star hotel but is awesome for all it has to offer especially at the price point.

Unfortunately, given National Harbor’s location, the crowd from nearby areas smokes ****. The outdoor bar/patio at the hotel was not secured from the general public, and late into the night non-guests stopped by to smoke, which we could quite clearly smell in our room. Hotel is very nice, but this was last time we stay there.

Perfect Little Staycay!! One of our favorite stays! The room was perfect! It has a full kitchen with a large fridge, perfect for a bunch of leftovers and late night snacking! The folks at the front desk gave us a "starter bag" of ice while we waited for our maker to make ice. CLUTCH! Perfect location with food and the Ferris wheel within five minutes walking distance. Felt like a vacation, although we don't live far away! No complaints!

Overall, this was a pleasant experience. The room, sheets, towels, etc. were all very clean. I had a view of a parking ramp across the street, but I guess not every visitor is going to get a great view a staff or friendly, breakfast was acceptable, and it was a great location.
