Mother and daughter holiday in the heart of Lisbon. On request, we had two single, very comfortable beds. The room was very nice, and spotlessly clean. We liked that it had wooden floors, and not carpets. Plenty of coat hangers and some shelves to store clothes etc. There was a fridge, and a kettle, with plenty of tea, coffee and sugar sachets, we missed some powdered milk sachets though. The bathroom had a good shower. We were on the 2 floor, and the stairs are fairly steep, but not a problem for us. The adequate breakfast was served in the reception, which is downstairs in the same building, but you have to go out of the hotel entrance and around the corner. We didn’t mind, as it’s only a couple of minutes. This is a guesthouse with only 9 rooms, and they have made the most of the original house. We found the location very central, and were able to walk to most places. The only downside was the noise from the neighbouring bars, mostly on Saturday, even with our windows closed. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, both Maria and Pedro. Pedro helped us get some Fado tickets on request. We would have stayed there again.
