The pictures on the website do truly show this hotel as it is . Beautiful in every way . Spacious , quiet , an oasis of calm . Fantastic public rooms , courtyard , garden and outdoor eating area . Breakfast was perfect , dinner a delight , every member of staff a pleasure to engage with .

The staff here are unbelievable, so friendly and kind and go out of their way to make your stay a memorable experience. The palazzo is indeed stunning albeit in a village of little note with little to do. It’s a place to tour from. For this price, and it’s expensive, everything should be to a high quality, and it wasn’t. Worn frayed bath mat, chipped crockery, rising damp in a corner of the bedroom, slight smell of damp, windows with peeling paint and mold coming through in the bathroom really let this stunning place down. Perhaps it was just our room……We own an old listed property, the issues we mention aren’t the hallmarks of faded glamour or of an old building, but of a lack of inves**ent. Shame as the staff and building are really superb.

Au milieu de nul part , cet endroit est une vraie merveille. Une décoration exceptionnelle, un lieu magique d’un autre temps . La chambre est très belle et très grande avec une salle de bain très bien pensée Le jardin est très beau Nous y avons très bien mangé et les cuisinières sont fort sympathique Bref que du superlatif dans cet endroit.

One of the most astonishing boutique hotel in south of Italy. Great mix from an old palazzo with modern design. Would highly recommend. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Very good wine list and the food is delicious. Many extra experiences possible (massage, cooking classes, boat trips…)

Ho pernottato due notti a Palazzo Daniele nel mese di giugno, sono stata al ristorante anche l'anno prima - 2022. Posto incantevole, sicuramente esteticamente impressionante, staff gentile. mi è sembrato che la cucina non fosse al livello dell'obiettivo percepito di hotel di lusso. il menù è ok, la materia prima buona, ma i piatti non sono saporiti. alcuni dei prezzi sono fuori proporzione. il personale è gentile ma non era pronto sui piatti (il menu è breve, e comunque non è cambiato durante le. due cene a distanza di un anno). le camere sono sicuramente impressionanti per dimensione ma hanno dei difetti come l'acustica (dai corridoi si sente tutto), l'illuminazione (impossibile truccarsi o vestirsi la sera, banalmente disfare le valigie) e nel caso della mia stanza il bagno assolutamente non all'altezza (doccia vecchia e piccolissima, tipo 70x70cm, per una camera da 1000€ a notte non è adeguata). Non c'è il frigo in camera, quello nella "cucina" comune era spento, non ci hanno cambiato le bottigliette d'acqua per due notti/tre giorni. In sintesi vedo l'intento, la voglia di risaltare, la "forma"; non trovo un riflesso adeguato nella sostanza. Ha il potenziale di essere un'oasi dalla quale non uscire per tutto il tempo del soggiorno, ma secondo la mia opinione il servizio non è completo o all'altezza di altre strutture in puglia ugualmente belle - ma anche meno costose - che ti fanno sentire benvenuto, coccolato e che anticipano i tuoi bisogni.

Pallazo Daniele is a dream come true. A hidden gem, very kind staff, the best local cooks in the kitchen, delicious food. Beautiful rooms, charming garden, modern pool and very relaxing a**osphere. It was like staying with your best Italian friends. We cried when we left, it was perfect.

Sono stata ospite insieme ad un gruppo di amici per un compleanno in questo meraviglioso palazzo del 1800. Tutto fantastico e ben organizzato partendo dall’ aperitivo a bordo piscina con cocktail perfetti serviti da un barman competente ed esperto (Daniel). Proseguendo con una cena ottima a base di prodotti del territorio di alta qualità. Buonissimo lo sgombro!! Il Tutto accompagnato da una selezione di vini locali eccellente. Ed in fine, molto gradito il tour del palazzo, dove gli affreschi d’epoca si alternano ad opere di design contemporaneo. Tornerò sicuramente per un soggiorno

Once you step in the little door you can't help but have your mouth drop open. The place/palace is stunning. Every turn is more beautiful than the next. I always appreciate a tour of the property at check in, and Ricardo did just that. The rest of the staff were so attentive and accommodating, including Valeria, who helped translate during our cooking lesson and Fabio who hooked us up with a last minute booking at Cinque Vele beach club. The food was good, some of it was just ok, but nothing was bad. The breakfast was so simple but plentiful and very freshly made. They encourage you to walk through the kitchen and can mingle with the incredibly friendly aunties/cooks. Location-wise, the palace is the destination but is situated on a piazza where locals convene nightly as the heart of the community. One night there was a live puppet show - it just felt so magical and surreal. We really appreciated it feeling so authentic and not overrun with tourists. It's a charming little town. Overall we loved our stay. It's totally unique and very very special.

Sadly we booked this through Mr and Mrs Smith and they cancelled our booking with only a week to go. We had booked months ago. Hotel did not contact us directly and said it was closed for maintenance however bookings were still on the website so we feel that it was either double booked or there was a ‘better’ booking opportunity elsewhere. Am sure it’s a very nice please but be aware that your booking may get cancelled with short notice so have a back up in mind.
