卡薩格特20住宿加早餐旅館(Casa Galateo 20)

Boutique hotel in the heart of Gallipoli. Walkable to many restaurants and bars along with the beach. The property is very small with only a few rooms and a main salon where breakfast is served. One issue is that the air conditioning is centrally controlled and was not in service during the month of May. This meant that we had to sleep with the windows open and the noise from the street. Ear plugs are provided but knowing that the units are not individually controlled would be good to know for some passengers. The staff and owner are great people and we would stay there again.

I thought the Accomodation was lovely, very reasonably priced, the lady running the b n b was lovely. A very generous breakfast. We were not hurried to check out neither. Accomodation was smack in the middle of the beautiful town.

The location and interior are nice. It is relatively close to the parking area. Minor point was the noise disturbance of the accomodation. The walls and door aren’t noise proof. We could hear a baby crying in the room next to ours. And we could hear people in the breakfast area. Which is next to 3 rooms.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Casa Galateo and stayed at their apartment which consists of a bedroom, bathroom and separate kitchen and living room with our own entrance. The apartment was decorated very tastefully and so was the main breakfast area. All was very clean. There is also a roof terrace with sunloungers. Breakfast was subtantious with various savoury and sweet options. Anna was very friendly and welcoming. We told her in advance our arrival time and she was there to check us in. There were numerous restaurants nearby. We found free parking at the port which is only 5 min by foot. We recommend this place and would chose it again.

Abbiamo soggiornato lì per 15 giorni ed è stato un grosso sbaglio. Si trova nel centro della parte vecchia di Gallipoli, ci era stato detto dal proprietario che potevamo parcheggiare gratuitamente al porto, purtroppo non è vero, so paga 1,50 euro all'ora, h24, tutti i giorni, ed è sempre strapieno. La persona che gestisce il bed and breakfast non ci ha fornito informazioni utili per risolvere il problema. La stanza è molto bella ma scomoda, per guardare la TV c'è solo uno sgabello. La colazione è molto buona ma viene servita in una sala con temperatura polare, 22 gradi. Non sempre viene dato bagnoschiuma e shampoo. Abbiamo chiesto uno sconto, considerando il lungo periodo e il fatto che spesso era mezzo vuoto, è stato negato. Successivamente per mail ci chiedono un feedback prima di scrivere una recensione, lo facciamo ma non rispondono.

Great room, amazing terrace and views. The new owners of this perfectly located Palazzo have revamped the house into an elegant must-see place. Rooms are quiet and redone in exquisite taste. The living room feels like home and the loggia in a quiet street close to all key attractions and restaurants is the perfect place to start your evening!

This hotel is in a beautifully restored and decorated palazzo, and the location at the heart of the city is excellent, although parking in the old city is a nightmare. I would suggest parking before 7pm for the night, or else it is very difficult to get a spot in the overnight parking. Staff could be a little more helpful and available, but generally our stay was pleasant.
