My husband and I like to workout before starting the day and I book hotels with a gym available. When we got to the gym at 7:30 a.m. it was locked and the front desk said it didn’t open until 8. I’ve never seen a gym open that late. More annoyed that at 8:15 we went back to the gym and it was still locked.

Our view from our window was the Colorado River••• just beautiful Our room had an old smoke smell… carpeting looked just ok Breakfast was outstanding & the breakfast server was a “10 ”!!! Staff at desk were friendly, especially the evening lady who checked us in. She gets a “10 ” in friendliness, eye contact, efficient check in process & exceptional kindness to my wife and myself as we were seniors.

Overall, I liked it because the hotel location is very close to I-70 and near to the famous hot spring facilities (17-19 miles away). Quality of the hot-free breakfast was good, and watching the Colorado River passing in front of the dining was a very good experience. One thing that I did not like was that there were no dress hangers in the closet at all.

The property hosts numerous wedding parties simultaneously and on a regular basis in the spring/summer season. There was a great deal of foot traffic in the halls and late night noise out of the facilites control. If you are looking for a restful stay you may want to ask about the booking status. The facility itself and staff were great.

I booked and paid for a room on *******, showed up and was turned away as there was no availability. Still waiting for a refund.

The property was aged and beat up & extremely overpriced for the accommodations. Extremely limited dining options. Would not stay here again.

Overall ok, but room was a little old looking and run down. Staff were nice but very understaffed.

Pros: breakfast and next to the river. Cons: not that nice for the price. I called to make sure the hot tub was functional before cancelling my family’s reservation for a nearby hotel (accidentally booked both for the same night) and cancelled the other because they confirmed hot tub was functional. That was a lie, as it was not heating the night of our stay only a few days later, and we were informed it hadn’t been working for some time. I would have kept my rez at the comfort inn instead, for less $
