Staying in this motel is like stepping back in time. It’s basic and old fashioned. It’s a room with a bed and ok for a night. Staff were friendly and helpful at check in. Reception was closed when l checked out so no where to leave luggage so p had to walk around all day with my bags which was annoying.

Great location but property could do with a bit of uplift and cleaning. Bathroom was renovated and clean so that was great. Beds were clean and comfortable. Not so sure about the curtains. Although it did keep the room dark when needed. Price was reasonable and competitive for the area.

Rooms are very out dated, decor and furniture and not worthy of close to $190 a night. Limited room facilities. Cleaniness needs to be reviewed with mould in the bathroom, dirty and bug stained blinds, holes in walls and paint peeling off-hiden behind the beds. Under the beds had not been vaccummed.
The hotel could do with a revamp, it definately has potential, if owners were to invest.

It’s a great place to stay before leaving for Tassie on the ferry. Loved the Indian Restaurant that’s part of the motel complex. Other than that - just a good old traditional motel! Not flashy but has everything you need for a single nights stay. And lovely to be near Eastern Beach for a post-dinner stroll!

The pictures on the web site do not look anything like real life. The room had a terrible musty smell, the Tv was small and the picture not clear. Out side the room on the balcony was a mixture of furniture for each room which is set up for the smokers, so had to walk through that smell to get to my room, will not be using again

The chap at reception went above and beyond by moving our room to ground level when he realised the stairs was going to prove a problem with one of the guests having to use a walking stick. He did this without us having to even ask. Very impressed.

Property was cleaned and easy access to all amenities.
Could not sleep until very late due to noises coming from surrounding room ; someone quite loud up to late keep us awake.
