Wir waren bereits das 3. (oder 4.?) mal hier und kommen gerne wieder. Zimmer sehr fein, Parkplätze vorhanden, direkte Buslinie in die Innenstadt. Das beste ist aber, dass man sich jeden Morgen aufs Frühstück freut :) Und auch das varriert von Aufenthalt zu Aufenthalt. Gerne wieder!

Wir haben hier zwar nur eine Nacht verbracht aber waren sehr positiv überrascht. Vom Zimmer bis hin zum frühstücken war alles top. Preis Leistung passt hier definitiv., vor allem für Salzburg oder Umgebung.Wir kommen gerne und definitiv wieder

Hotel a 5 minuti da salisburgo e centrale per visitare i gioielli di questa regione. Abbiamo usufruito di 2 camere comunicanti al piano terra molto confortevoli. Colazione ottima, staff disponibile, parcheggio ampio e gratuito, tapparelle che chiudono perfettamente dalla luce. Presenza di.molti ristoranti in zona. Assolutamente consigliato.

Das Hotel liegt perfekt für die Durchreise aber auch um einen Abstecher nach Salzburg zu machen. Schließlich ist eine Bushaltestelle nur wenige Meter entfernt. Die Linie führt direkt in die Stad**itte. Das Hotel ist modern ausgestattet, der Parkplatz ist ausreichend und das Frühstück ist echt gut. Der Kaffee ist etwas schwach auf der Brust. Einziger Nachteil ist die fehlende Klimaanlage für heiße Nächte. Hier hat der Gastgeber aber zumindest Ventilatoren bereit gestellt. Insgesamt wirklich ein großes Lob und weiter so!!!!

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at the Hotel Das Essigmanngut. When we arrived at the hotel to we were greeted by friendly staff who couldn't of been more helpful. They gave us lots of information about the surrounding area including maps, local amenities and suggestions of things to do. The local Bus 25 was extremely convenient for us to get into Salzburg and the surrounding area and was only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. There was a good free car park at the hotel for those travelling by car but we relied on public transport which was fantastic. The hotel itself was immaculate. Everything was to a very high standard and eco conscious. There was plenty of places to sit inside and out and we made use of the complimentary hot drinks machine. We had a superior two bedroom apar**ent which included a small kitchenette, two bathrooms and two balconies. The rooms were cleaned daily to high standard by hardworking staff. Comfortable beds, toiletries and brand new, spacious bathrooms. Breakfast has to be one of the hightlights of our stay. Would go as far to say it was the best Breakfast we'd ever had abroad. There was always somewhere to sit even on the busier weekends. There was PLENTY of choice and the food was constantly being replenished. Hot and cold options to cater for all ages and tastes. A relaxing and enjoyable experience each morning, a great way to start the day before exploring Salzburg. One small negative for us was there is no restaurant or bar facility on site. So you do need to venture out for main meals. After a day spent exploring it would of been nice to have a proper sit down meal at the hotel and a relaxing drink into the evening. But we can't express how kind and helpful each member of staff was. All in all we highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to explore Salzburg and the surrounding areas. You will not be disappointed.

We stayed for 4 nights in late April/early May. Our honest opinion is there is much to be very happy with ....but, there are a few things which prevented our stay from being excellent. The location is perfect if you want to explore Salzburg and the surrounding area. Parking is easily available and we also made use of the local bus service to get into Salzburg, using the app and buying a 24 hour card. The bus stop is a short walk away. The hotel has been designed to an exceptionally high modern standard. The finish, the furnishings, the decoration, the cleanliness - it's all very good indeed. There are other special touches, including access to hot drinks throughout the day from a good coffee machine. This was appreciated. Our room was a small double, finished to an excellent standard. Clean, with large walk in shower. We felt one of our mattresses (two single beds pushed together to make a double) was very uncomfortable, to the point of back ache and not a great night's sleep. We swapped sides part way through our stay to minimise the problem - One mattress was comfortable. One was awful. We were surprised to be woken up by housekeeping entering our room, shortly after 8am one morning. That's a bit early to be wanting to service bedrooms. Almost all of the staff we interacted with were friendly although we can't say everyone was, especially when they were busy. The breakfast staff were less friendly. Breakfast was a mixed, inconsistent experience. On the best days there was lots of choice and good quality items. On a couple of days, some items weren't replaced or topped up quickly enough - eg) croissants, eggs. One morning, we waited for a table for almost 25 minutes, with no acknowledgement from the staff and no queue. Other guests even jumped ahead of us to grab a table. That wasn't good, at all. The next couple of days we chose to have breakfast much earlier, which solved that problem. On check in, we were given a map of local restaurants, all a short drive away. We did go to a local pizzeria, which was acceptable. It's such a shame that there are no restaurant or bar facilities at the hotel, which would have made all of the difference for us. We would have really liked to enjoy an evening meal or even just drinks, at the hotel, after a busy day sightseeing. Our feedback is given with sincerity and is not a complaint. The hotel is beautiful and we would return. There are just some tweaks which would have made our experience better.
