Très bel hôtel situé en pleine campagne dans le sud de la Suède. L’accueil est très sympathique et très chaleureux avec Hanness. L’hôtel est vaste et la bâtisse date de 1902 ce qui ne gâche rien au charme du mieux. Pour le dîner produits locaux et plats typiques un vrai régal.

Wir waren zu einer Familienfeier dort. Ein Abstecher dorthin ohnt sich, da mitten in der schwedischen Natur. Sehr hübsches, edles Ambiente. Sehr gutes Essen mit Weinbegleitung. Stilvoller Außenbereich, leider im April aber noch recht kalt.

Hotellet är maigst med supergott bakverk på eftermiddagen.Middagen var superb,likaså frukosten med hembakt filmjölksbröd och allt man kunde önska sig. 9 av 10. Enda minuset var att det inte är anpassat för om man stannar längre än 1 natt. Ingen garderob eller dyligt eller någon hylla i badrummet där det gick att ställa toalettsaker. Bra om dom kan ha en dagens/veckans rätt som är lite enklare/billigare. Inte alltidman vill eller har råd med 300+ föe en middag,

Ett helt underbart hotell. Maten, rummet( saknar TV) och personalen.

Charmigt med familjär känsla i vacker miljö. Otroligt god mat med matchande viner och en härlig frukost.

A taste of heaven in an early 20th century setting. The three-course dinner included in the stay was beyond expectations. The service was professional, welcoming and friendly. Right now there is also an offer as the Country side hotels celebrate 40 years! If you like to hike visit the two national parks nearby.

With a VBT cycling tour. Treated to a micro brewery discussion and sampling in the cellar which was awesome! Room was very spacious had a sitting area with a desk and couch bed was a double unfortunate new fan but they rarely have evenings were a fan is required. Hotels built in 1902. Meals were phenomenal breakfast dinner just terrific. Waitstaff exceptional wines paired with meal also spot on

We spent four days and three nights at Villa Gransholm. We were 23 people between 2 and 71 years old. We had a wonderful stay. We ate three courses for dinner every day and they tasted delicious. All dishes were incredibly beautifully laid out with local ingredients with berries and vegetables from the own garden. The kitchen staff did a superb job. All the staff were friendly, accommodating and incredibly professional. We slept in beautiful clean rooms with wonderful wallpaper. I myself had windows in two directions and a crystal chandelier in the ceiling. We had beautiful weather every day and ate our breakfasts outdoors next to the water pond with water lily leaves and goldfishes. The garden was beautifully and lovely taken care of by the gardener. There were large grass lawns on which we played cub, ballgames and other activities. The five children loved the surfaces at Villa Gransholm where they spent a large part of their time with different games. Many thanks to Joakim

Stayed here for one night. Very nice and charming hotel with just the right level of "rustic charm" while still being well maintained. The stay included dinner and it was excellent! The breakfast was also very nice. Staff was helpfull and attentive. The area just around the hotel may be a bit "unaccessible but you will find the national park around Åsne lake near by.

Warm welcome, spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds, very clean with tasteful decor. Our visit was topped off with fabulous breakfast. Travelling around Sweden and Denmark and so good to stay in a lovely hotel. Will book in on next trip and would definitely recommend.

Veel bezoekers boeken dit hotel voor één of twee nachten. Wij verbleven er twee weken. De villa uit 1902 biedt een echt klassiek Z****s landelijke sfeer en is omgeven door een prachtige tuin. Je waant je in een upper-class setting die niet misstaat in een kasteelroman. Het restaurant is chique en de keuken gebruikt veel plaatselijke ingrediënten met name uit eigen tuin. Het eten is elke avond een culinaire ervaring. Als je langer gast bent dan zorgt de keuken ervoor dat er voldoende afwisseling is. Je kunt per dag je voorkeur kenbaar maken. Als je wilt genieten van de rust en wilt onthaasten is dit de plek. Toch biedt de omgeving voldoende afwisseling. Wij hebben per fiets een landgoed met museum bezocht, zijn gaan wandelen in twee nationale natuurparken, hebben twee kanotochten gemaakt en op de mooie golfbaan op 17 km afstand in Växjö een aangename ronde gespeeld. Op 70 km afstand hebben wij een Elandpark bezocht. Voor ons een prima afwisseling tussen natuur, cultuur en Z****se traditie. In 2023 zullen er voor de elektrische auto’s ook vier laadpalen beschikbaar zijn. Uiteraard hebben wij twee weken uitstekend weer gehad wat natuurlijk veel extra genot op levert, maar dankzij het gastvrije personeel is de Villa zeker een meerwaarde.
