Nice little hotel good staff

A fine urban hotel in a little less touristy part of town . I was granted early check- in with no problem. The clerk was pleasant and friendly. The room itself was small & compact , but fully functional, personally , I found it quite cozy . A/C worked extremely well at chilling the room down . And although I had a front room facing the street , ( with construction going on ) with the windows closed noise was kept to a minimum. The overall feel is contemporary, clean & tasteful. Breakfast was simple , yet ample , and very well tended to & constantly under care of an attendant. Really a pleasant place to stay .

The room was good for four. The location is walking distance to the lake and shopping. There are restaurants nearby as well. The staff was welcoming and answered all the questions we had and also set up our taxi for our departure. The only issue we had was the air conditioning was not cold enough and was not adjustable from our room since it’s centralized. Would still recommend this though.

The Pax is well-located in older Geneva. East walking distance to restaurants and Mont Blanc square. Clean, simple room. Good enough breakfast offering. Good value. I would stay again.

Accueil plus que médiocre ! J'y suis restée deux nuits et ma chambre n'a pas été nettoyée, soit disant parce que la femme de chambre n'a pas vu la pancarte. La réclamation n'était pas prise en considération, alors que le prix de la chambre était de CHF 300.- / nuit. Mise à part ça hôtel bruyant et petit déjeuner minable. Quand je suis arrivée à 9 heures les tables n'étaient même pas débarrassées et il n'y avait personne pour vérifier qu'il restait suffisamment de petits pains etc. Vraiment hôtel à éviter !!!

We chose this hotel for its location: we wanted to be close to the Old Town and walkable to the lake and public transport. It fitted our needs well. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was quite good. Our room overlooked the street but there was minimal street noise. Check-in and out were efficient. Overall, I would be happy to recommend this hotel as a cost effective way of staying in Geneva close to all that you are likely to want to see in the city.

Very convenient for a short stay if you just need sleeping and not saying in the hotel.
