濱海大酒店(Grand Coastal Hotel)

It was not a quadruple room. Construction around my room sawing and banging starting at approximately 7 am each day and continuing all day. Food was horrible it used to be good. every description of their meals are now misleading. I ordered the lamb shanks it tasted fresh, was not marinated or seasoned properly. Ordered the pork ribs looked scrumptious, but was tough as leather. Ordered a club sandwich, it came without bacon (bacon was in the description). sent it back and when it came back it had one piece of bacon on one half of the sandwich. the supervisor told me point blank he cant do anything about it, and they still charged me the 12 USD for the sandwich. Bottom Line this place has dropped its standards from when I last stayed there in 2006 when I was on active duty and stationed at the US Embassy. Asked to speak with the owner who I met from my stay in 2006, but the gatekeeping employees did everything to prevent that, so this is my only option. Also, the checkin staff need a course on how to smile and greet customers, its like they are on auto pilot and doing you a favor. Positives the place was clean and the most of the wait staff were great Abraham and Ryan were great.

The property was clean and well kept. Most of the staff were courteous, attentive and polite. Transportation was readily available. The facility was far enough away from the city to be private and safe. I do think they could offer continental breakfast to their guests at least. We don’t always have time to sit and eat. Also the hotel charges well enough that they can extend this courtesy.

The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and informative. This is my second visit and i will be coming back! Special thanks to Kesha, Luan, Stacy, Kelly, Ronald, and Romel!

Fist the ac did work, Then the bar close at 8. the bath was leaking, I had all inclusive breakfast but they said ******* have nothing to do with them so they charge me for it.

So, everything was great until check out. I asked for a 4am taxi and got a 2:30 instead. He was an employee who was going home after work rather than a taxi driver. Then my bill was more that what it should have been. The hotel added a charge for the room (as explained to me) because I paid ********** less than the room rate. NOT LEGAL!!! Then the added tax which is some cases is authorized....NOT IN GUYANA!!!! I was curious to know why MARK & KISHA kept asking me to write a great review as soon as possible. Each time I explained that I won't have the option to write a review until after my stay is complete. Food was great !!!

Room was very clean and tidy, several options to view on the TV, staff was very friendly and attentive.

Some of the staff were very helpful especially Collin, Mr. Ferguson and the front desk staff. The food was not great and it took so long to get it after you ordered.

NOISIEST hotel ever! Would not stay here again or recommend

Everyone was nice. Checkin was easy. We were on the second floor and no elevator. Would love to see accommodations for the disabled. Tamika at the bar made great drinks. Checkout was easy at 1am and Romel our driver took care us as he took us back to the airport. I'm sure the renovations they have planned will elevate the hotel.
