Sublime maison d'hôtes dans une demeure digne d'un château où même les clefs nous y font penser ! Victor et son équipe sont au top pour vous combler. Le petit déjeuner est exquis dans un décor agréable animé de la présence de chats câlins. Un Hâvre de paix et de ressourcement pour découvrir les beautés de Gozo

Très belle maison maltaise où vous vous sentirez comme chez vous. Huit belles chambres de caractère, très propres, toutes différentes, très confortables, autour d’une grande piscine au calme, véritable oasis de tranquillité. Petits déjeuners complets inclus, cuisine commune bien pratique pour les apéros ou bien les petits creux. Accueil parfait. Attention, il ne faut pas avoir peur des escaliers et une voiture est indispensable pour se déplacer. Une bien belle adresse, excellente alternative aux locations de courte durée et aux hôtels standardisés.

Merci à Victor et toute son équipe pour avoir fait de nos premiers jours à Gozo une des plus agréables expériences de vacances jamais vécues. Ce n'est pas vraiment un hôtel, pas vraiment un AirBnB, c'est surtout une combinaison parfaite des deux. Service top (petit déjeuner fait sur mesure, merci aux trois employées très souriantes), mais aussi possibilité de se faire à manger à n'importe quelle heure. Pour les amoureux des animaux, il y 1 quelques adorables chats très câlins qui se promènent autour de la piscine. Et la cerise sur le gâteau : le patron qui nous emmène personnellement en voiture à Victoria pour prendre notre bus. Merci, merci, merci ❤️

Une superbe demeure à l’écart de l’agitation. On n’a pas adhéré à la chambre attribuée, la 3. Selon les photos, on s’attendait à quelque chose de plus éclairé et bien plus spacieux. La 4 est un peu mieux. Les meilleures chambres sont probablement les 1 et 2, un étage en dessous. 4 autres chambres dans un bâtiment annexe, moins bien semble-t-il.. Ceci dit, très bon séjour, stationnement facile, bel espace piscine (Froide en mai) petit-déjeuner avec confitures maison délicieuses et œufs à la demande. En fonction du temps pdj possible au bord de la piscine (Mieux que dans la salle sombre) Salon commun avec TV. Cuisine très bien équipée (Commerce d’alimentation à environ 1km) un endroit propice au repos. À pied on peut se rendre jusqu’au phare, belle balade avec vues magnifiques. Globalement très bien.

Maria's B&B est une superbe demeure de charme où nous avons passé un formidable séjour. Le calme, un cadre superbe, des chambres de caractère, un accueil agréable, un exvellent petit déjeuner avec des confitures, des gâteaux et des yaourts maison. Les clés sont impressionnantes, l'impression de rentrer dans un château 😉. Merci encore pour votre accueil.

Finally getting around to leaving a review of the wonderful Maria’s BnB in Gozo, where I stayed last June. I knew I was in for a treat when I booked 4 nights at Maria’s BnB, but I was totally unprepared for how much I would fall in love with this charming place. From the moment I stepped in the front door, I could just feel the history of this yellow limestone farmhouse, especially when I was handed the big medieval keys for my room and for the main entrance. One of the owners, Victor, met me at the entrance when I arrived and gave me the grand tour of the farmhouse, showing me where breakfast would be, the common areas, guest kitchen facilities (guests are allocated space in the fridge and can use the well-appointed kitchen to prepare meals) and finally my wonderful room #4 on the 2nd floor, which had a spacious sitting area, double bed, large walk-in shower, and large, lit elevated alcoves that added to the medieval atmosphere of the room. Across from my room was a spacious balcony overlooking the countryside and the beautiful pool, a great place to relax after a busy day of sightseeing, listening to the birds chirping—all so very serene and tranquil. I really enjoyed the quiet, homey vibe of Maria’s, and the fact that guests, once checked in, pretty much had the run of the place, only seeing staff at breakfast time. Breakfast, served on a patio near the pool, was delicious: home baked loaves and breads, cappuccino, continental and English breakfast. I found it held me all day until dinner time. Maria’s BnB is well situated to explore just about any part of the island by car. The BnB is located in a quiet village and there is handy parking on the street right in front of Maria’s. Ta Pinu, one of Malta’s most sacred shrines, is within walking distance. There’s a handy food mart close by, too. When I first arrived, I asked Victor for restaurant recommendations and he recommended wonderful ones in Xaghra and Marsalforn, and I also found lovely ones in Xlendi Bay. The farmhouse is not wheelchair accessible nor is there an elevator; however, for anyone with mobility issues like myself, there are really sturdy railings on both sides of the staircase leading up to the 1st and 2nd floors of the main house, where the rooms are. This was important for me to know before I booked here. Thank you, Victor and Sonia (who I met unknowingly while lost in Marsalforn) for running such a lovely bed and breakfast. I truly hope to come back again soon.

We enjoyed a three night stay at Maria’s. Chris and everyone was so lovely, the room was great as was breakfast, there was also a lovely pool to cool off in. You could travel around Gozo by bus but we hired a car which made lunch and dinner is easier, there is an equipped kitchen at the bnb you could use so a trip to supermarket is sometimes all you needed. Chris made some great suggestions of places to visit which we took up and added to our visit.

The place is kept clean every day and is a place to spend some relaxing time. Bedrooms are equipped with either a shower or a bath. Breakfast is super delicious and prepared fresh everyday. The staff is super friendly and even the owners. Would go again.

This B&B is fantastic. Not only beautiful, but comfortable, with great owners. They went out of their way to welcome us and give us tips on restaurants and hikes. Helps to have a car, though we did see buses drive by a street nearby. The view from the terrace was very magical, so we ordered takeout to enjoy it. very good breakfasts by the pool (see pics). Our room had air conditioning, but I did prefer the large fan they gave us as it wasn't too warm. Their remodeling of the centuries old farmhouse kept the charm while being very comfortable for tourists.

Best ever holiday accommodation, starting with excellent large comfortable bed with plenty of large comfy pillows, cool north-facing room in the main farmhouse. Excellent breakfast by the pool or indoors, use of kitchen for self-catering at other times. Beautiful fascinating old stone farmhouse with many original features. Quiet peaceful village with very good local shop. Wide range of restaurants in neighbouring villages for eating out but none in Ghasri itself, which keeps it quieter. You do need some transport if you want to eat out. Lovely secluded swimming pool, especially useful when many sea bathing places are plagued with jelly-fish! Can’t recommend this place highly enough for those who enjoy tranquility and a feel of home from home.

Tranquility at its best. The property has been restored honouring tradition and authenticity. The rooms are spacious, clean and easily accessible. Bed and pillows comfortable, shower with a waterfall head. The pool area is also very nice where I could close my eyes and listen to the sound of nature. The staff very helpful and polite and the breakfast buffet style, fresh with a choice of cereal, eggs, English breakfast, all types of coffee, hams, sweet cakes etc etc. Basically an excellent place to spend some quality time.

The most beautiful retreat ever, its really a secluded oasis amidst a hot island and we enjoyed so much staying there. The place itself, the interior, the friendliness, the service, the best breakfast ever, the pool with birds singing all around and dragonflies….,, it was so much more than we would ever have expected and added so much to our stay in Gozo! Highly recommended!

This is a wonderful property in a quiet area. The room was spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly as are the owners Victor & Sonia. We spent many mornings talking to Victor who gave us lots of advice and laughs. Would definitely stop again.

A little gem. They did a great job preserving the historic features of this BnB. Victor, the owner, greets you every morning with a warm smile, generous portions of his wife's homemade jams and goodies, and genuine interest in what you are planning on doing that day with great advice if you want it. We used Bolt to get everywhere we wanted to on the island and never had to pay more than 20 euros (and that was from one end to the other.) It's a beautiful easy 20 minute walk to the Ta Pinu Basilica, and also very close to Victoria (5-10 min Bolt.) The view from the balconies is incredible and even though we were there when the pool was a bit cold it was still worth the quick dip. 10/10 would recommend.
