Very good hospitality and also all staff members behavior was good and food is excellent. Very good experience . Rooms are also clean and the cleanness was also good i must suggest you all visit it once very good food and allover the experience was good

Best Sasan resort. The resort is exquisite, equipped with every luxury. Additionally, the meal tastes fantastic and the service is really polite. The resort's architecture seamlessly blends with its surroundings, offering breathtaking views at every turn.

I always choose this place because for me, this is a home away from home. I visit Gir every year merely for the love for the place. The staff here is very friendly and treat us like family. The smallest needs are taken care of. There is 24-hour availability of staff. I can very confidently travel with my 3-year-old son, who needs special care in terms of food and medical needs. I usually don't go out much. But with a place like Asiatic lion lodge, I feel very comfortable thanks to the awesome hospitality.

A recent visit to Sasan Gir with family was very enjoyably. We stayed at Asiatic Lion Lodge for two nights and had booked three rooms. The property is well maintained, with good forest fill and ambience. Rooms are spacious, clean and reasonably well maintained with good security. But the bathroom had very basic toiletries with soap cake missing. The normal check in time is 2.00 PM. We reached the premises after that but out of three rooms booked, one was still under cleaning and was alloted after 15/20 mins. The staff is good, courteous, helpful but the service needs lot of improvement Service at the restaurant was extremely slow and with very limited staff. Some of the dishes seem to be overpriced e.g. a plate of pakoda is priced Rs 250 a plate. Swimming pool was clean and many indoor activities are available. Overall a happy stay.

The property is so beautiful, calm & peaceful. We had a great time over there. The staff is very cooperative & helpful. The food is delicious. Rooms are neat & clean. One should definitely go to this place to witness the breathtaking beauty of nature.

If you are planning to visit Gir, I would say Asiatic lion lodge will be the great choice. They provide you homely food with nature. You can enjoy Bird Watching, Cycling,Mango Farm visits,Hiking all the activities. U can also enjoy pool also with fun games.

I had chosen to stay in the Asiatic Lion Lodge entirely basis my excellent experience with the Velabadar Blackbuck Safari Lodge property of the same management reviewed earlier by me. Probably I hung my expectations too high due to my previous experience. Firstly, unlike the nearly full occupancy in the blackbuck safari lodge due to weekend, we were the sole inmates at the Asiatic Lion Safari Lodge, probably due to being a week day. Rather than concentrating on the few guests the staff looked crestfallen and not too keen in outdoing their colleagues at Velabadar. The food was a la carte understandably due to meagre occupancy but that doesn't explain the average food quality and flying insects fallen in some dishes. On the positive side, the Asiatic Lion Lodge is actually bigger than the Velabadar Blackbuck Safari Lodge and the cottages are more spacious suites. The lawns and the outdoor playing and recreation areas are perfectly manicured and maintained. We saw many birds and heard many more. Surrounded on three sides by agricultural farms and mango orchards the Asiatic Lion Lodge is a blissful place for a peaceful break from hurly burly of the city life. We didn't go for the routine forest Safari, preferring to soak in the solitude and spend some quality time with the family.

It was a very nice place to stay with family and friends amidst nature. Staff are very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a place to stay with nature and to have break from city life.....this is the right place ...Children can also enjoy the mother nature.

We loved our stay at Asiatic Lion Lodge, this lush open resort is welcoming, open and the people running the resort make sure you are welcomed and checked out with a smile. You’ll love to spacious rooms that can hold upto 3 adults comfortably. The food in the Flavours of the Forest is made fresh and so tasty. We enjoyed Kathiyawadi cuisine, cooked in house and loved the delights. Once you have the permit booked from the official website, sit back and relax, they’ll take care of the rest. They have a swimming pool, indoor games are, and outdoor games area. Enjoy your visit to a nearby village on a bullock cart, or just walk with the resort guide in the mango farms. Evenings are for wildlife documentaries, and star gazing. We loved our 3 night stay, and look forward to visiting again.
