馬德琳小型酒店(La Petite Madeleine)

We arrived at the hotel, and the manager Geraldine who greeted us, was very unfriendly and rude. We booked for 2 people and asked if we could request an extra bed. She said it is the law in Paris to accommodate only 2 people. She said we need another room and there is an available single room. Since I am a gold member of hotel.com, I wanted to check if the price is cheaper. She said to book it with them because they had to pay a commission. As a guest, I should be given a choice of where I want to book my hotel. I checked hotel.com, and the available room showed up. Before I book it, I want to check the price difference. She said it would be more expensive with Hotel.com. I told her I would book it with hotel.com, so she needed to confirm. Suddenly the room on hotel.com disappeared and was no longer available. So I ended up booking their hotel, which is more expensive than booking with hotel.com. I asked for her name from a colleague, and she heard me, so she asked why i need to know her name. I said giving your name should be part of customer service. She said if I have a problem with her, to tell her, and she is not a receptionist but a manager. So I told her as a manager, she should be welcoming and friendly. First, it is not our first time in Paris, so we know it is not the Paris law to have only two people in one room because, on the last visit, we were 4 in one room so maybe this is a hotel law and not Paris law. 2nd she was very unfriendly and gave us attitude. 3rd, she blocked the hotel as soon as she learned that I was booking it with hotel.com She argued with me with a tone when I told her that she was unfriendly.

Really a comfortable feeling. The village and buildings are older, but are well cared for, have a homely feeling, and clean. Scenic surroundings and old charm. Good continental breakfast, and gourmet dinner available. Highly recommend.

Wir kommen jedes Jahr zur Primeur Verkostung und bisher hat immer alles bestens funktioniert. Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, es fehlt uns an nichts. Abends gibt es auch Wunsch ein Dinner, das auch besondere Wünsche erfüllt .Wir kommen wieder!

parfaite maison d'hotes , avec salon privatif, les chambres sont tres bien, avec salle de bains et wc la table d'hotes es excellentes, foi gras, magrets...un delice les hotes sont tres acceuillants enfin bref si vous allez a st emilion, c'est parfait pour votre sejour
