Staybridge Suites 格倫維尤(Staybridge Suites Chicago -- Glenview)

I recently had to vacate my house for two weeks and so stayed here instead. Everything was first-rate. It was especially nice to see a first-rate cleaning staff again after the Covid years of no hotel cleaning. The room had a couch and a kitchenette so I was able to do some cooking myself and not constantly go out to eat which is what I was hoping for. The guest reception three nights a week were a big surprise and much appreciated.

Wonderful property! We stayed in the studio. It was a bit pricey for what you get. There is no oven and only 2 stove burners. The kitchen is not well stocked for an extensive stay. The queen size bed is the only comfortable sleeping accommodation. Even so, the property is beautiful with an inside pool, exercise rm, laundry and an extensive breakfast buffet. It is also the most pet friendly property that I’ve ever stayed at.

Great place to stay. The kids loved the pool. it's about 3-5 ft deep. we had a suite and loved it. staff were friendly. loved the breakfast. they served many food choices- cereals, yogurt parfait, fruits, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuit and gravy, breads, etc. the only thing was they did not clean out the trash bins. we stayed there for 4 days. maybe i need to ask them to clean out the bins at least? the cleaning lady did not want to give us towels. had to get them downstairs from the front desk. it's alright, will stay there again.

Stayed here several times over the years and of course the outside still looks new. The rooms are now very disappointing and I should've known better when the Patel group took over and dropped the daily rates. Evidently they skimp on everything--The sheets and towels are a dingy itchy grey...This place does not even have ice. The pool is actually scummy. The lower rates attracts people "chumming" hotel rooms to stay up late smoking and drinking. Very loud and disturbing but I guess they can sleep all day?

Food was great, room too. Wish desk would have told me the ice maker had to be turned on in the room. The woman in the kitchen was efficient buts needs a personality. Only real negative: gym ******.

We had a Very nice stay here on Thursday night, would definitely stay there again anytime. We had 2 bedroom suite (sleeps 8), it was a great size for our family of 7. Had a Standard size fridge with freezer and icemaker w/full kitchen (we did not use the kitchen for our stay) Hotel was very quiet and did not hear much noise at all during stay. Excellent amenities and the complementary hot breakfast was Great with plenty of options. Staff was very nice courteous and friendly. If I could say there is a little room for improvements… #1-The shower as the heads were either plugged, old, or very low water pressure and not great. I do notice this issue at alot of hotels and I think it’s commonly overlooked. It got the job done and the Dove soaps were a nice upgraded touch from the usual basic body wash and shampoo. We only stayed the one night. #2-Was asked at check in if we Needed to use the sofa sleeper. Replied yes and I was handed the bedding in a zipper bag from the front desk, but had to setup and make ourselves. Minor inconvenience on that service and the bedding was pretty basic. Not as nice as the main beds and bedding.
