Upon arrival arrival for check-in the person at the desk was very friendly and courteous. The room was very clean and spacious and felt very cosy. My group had 3 people and we all had plenty if space to move around and had we slept comfortably. There is a boat launching area for guests and the parking lit can accommodate cars with their boats in tow. The hotel is right next to the Muskoka Steamship Discovery Centre and there are a few restaurants within walking distance. The only issue is most of restaurants close around 9pm so you must eat early. Our group enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this hotel if you are in the area for a visit or just to go on a short trip to relax. The steamship ship cruises are a must do and is the main attraction in this area. I will definitely return to this area for another visit.

Our reception couldn’t have better. The people working at reception were so helpful. Room was excellent with nice balcony and view. A well equipped kitchen in the room and BBQ facilities outside. Easy walk to the tour boats and restaurants. Definitely would stay there again.

Good location

We booked 2 suites for 10 people, one of these suites out of power in early morning due to this we have to use bathroom in dark, staff showed up, but problem wasn’t fixed. In addition there was ceiling lamp which was not running and water start dripping through the ceiling LED. Next day morning, at the time of breakfast no staff there to refill food. We literally had to go inside the kitchen and have to ask that we need this item to be refilled. Overall not worth for money, very disappointing.

The property is very old and the rooms are very old. They were dirty on the carpet and balcony. When I book Marriot, I am paying a lot more money for cleanliness and high quality room, but this was not the case. If I had known I could have spent 1/2 the money and have the same experience. Very disappointed. I would not be staying with Marriot anymore and would rather spend less. Oh the continental breakfast was horrible. I am vegan, and all I could eat was bagel and butter. No bread, no milk. I’ve had better experience with continental breakfast of 2 star hotels. Very bad experience cannot stress enough. Stay at your own risk.

There was no view from the room. Parking lot was the view. IM not sure why, I Paid Premium Price for it. I requested in advance to prepare sofa bed, which confirmation was received from the hotel. But, It was not prepared.

All good except no resturant in hotel so we have to go out or using delivery

The staff were amazing - friendly, helpful and generous. My kids had a wonderful time.
