When I arrived I told them my name, they took my card, then proceeded to tell me they didn’t have my room available! How can I make a reservation if a room isn’t available! They told me that people who were staying decided to extend their stay. Ridiculous! I made the reservation you can just give up my room. Beyond pissed. Never staying at a Super 8 again.

The first room we were in had bad plumbing and they said they would fix it while we ate dinner. We came back hours later and it was still not fixed. They moved us and that room was filled with smoke fumes from a smoker. Finally our third room was decent. In the morning there was very limited breakfast items. Nothing like in the pictures. We will not be back.

I was forced to find other accommodations 45 minutes away after finding bed bugs in my room. This meant driving in a rainstorm at midnight in construction.
The staff was responsive and helpful, as all of the surrounding properties in Akron and even Cleveland were fully booked. I’m having trouble connecting to get my refund. Booked through *******, so this complicated things.

The room was clean and large. Staff was very friendly and efficient. We had to leave one day early due to illness of a family member and Tye, the manager, approved a refund for the second day. Was very professional and compassionate and understanding about our circumstance. We will use Hampton the next trip we go on.

Cons: lower quality inn at a mid quality price; stain on carpet in room; rust stain down shower wall; toilet sits low; wallpaper taped with packing tape all along the hallway; elevator floor in disrepair; very thin sheets; no pad of paper or pen; no Bible; no area attractions info. Pros: nice employees, decent breakfast, good location

Checkin after midnight and the front desk person was ready and excited to help us. She did a fantastic job. Rarely at the late checking do they go easy, but she did a great job.
The front desk in the morning was also staffed by a very friendly face.

We chose to stay here for a soccer tournament so the boys could swim. When we got here we were told the pool was not working. I spent more money to stay here for the pool and as a single mom I can’t do this often for my boys so this was very disappointing.

My stay was excellent. My room was very clean the bed was super comfortable the shower was nice and hot for three people taking a shower one after the other the complimentary breakfast was excellent and last but not least the entire staff from registration to serving breakfast to housekeeping was superb!!! I would recommend this hotel to everyone and it will be my choice of hotels from now on!
