Los servicios son extremadamente caros y aunque se guarda calidad en todo: no flexibilidad y no te hacen sentir como en casa: no se ponen de acuerdo; necesitábamos una salida tardía, el primer día que sí y después a la hora final: nos dicen corran: ya tiene que salir, no esperarías eso de un hotel de lujo, pensarla dos veces antes de decidir, espero sirva mi opinión pues cuesta dos veces un hotel de lujo en otra capital del mundo y con más amabilidad

Experiência inesquecível, um dos melhores hotéis que já me hospedei. Realmente o custo é alto, mas as instalações são incrivelmente feitas para o relaxamento. Além da arquitetura linda, os funcionários são excelentes, muitos simpáticos e solícitos. A piscina do retreat, suas saunas e espaços de descanso são maravilhosos. O ritual também foi incrível, voltei com uma pele macia após o processo. O hotel vale para estadias curtas, pessoalmente sugeriria não mais que 3 noites ou menos. Mas vale cada centavo. Apenas o restaurante Lava deixou um pouco a desejar. O cardápio era restrito e um repetitivo, pelo valor poderiam ser oferecidas melhores opções.

If you are visiting Iceland, this place is really a must! Design - clean lines and very modern. Atmosphere - luxury, with contemporary designs, spacious high ceilings, open lobby, the hotel felt a bit commercial, formal and non personal Rooms - very designer with lots of little gadgets, great little touches promoting inhouse products which you can buy at their gift shops Breakfast - good selection and variety Service - nothing stood out, not the worst nor the best Spa - a MUST go, great experience, it was a journey with all the different mud scrubs, masques, lagoon visit etc. Restaurant - the one we visited was good This may not be the best hotel with the best service ever... but this is a hotel where you are here for the incredible experience as part of the Iceland journey/adventure! Surrounded by lava rocks, thermal spa and spectacular sceneries!

This was the best (and by far the most expensive) hotel I stayed in Iceland. Yet, with a price tag of upwards of USD$1200 per room per night, you’d be forgiven if you expect quite a lot better. Firstly, the hardware / physical facilities are stunning. Architecturally beautiful, modern, sleek and with some smart features. The spa is world class helped by the natural hot water from the surrounding geothermal grounds. Most of the facility especially the rooms use dark coloured tiles and floors so if you don’t like dark coloured rooms, you won’t like this hotel. The room lighting is also quite dim. Reception staff were responsive and helpful and welcoming. The room I got was a lagoon view terrace suite. About 40 square meters. Not big but ok. A very good bed which was firm and they provided foam / orthopaedic pillows which I had pre-requested. The bathroom shower was perhaps the best I’ve ever experienced. Powerful shower. There was no work desk in the room. Some of the amenities you’d expect in a five star luxury hotel were missing including the absence of cups for washing or rinsing your mouth while brushing teeth! No tv. No clock. I suppose the hotel wants the experience to be one where guests can relax fully without disturbance. Breakfast was very good. Great selection of the usual cold cuts, pastries, breads, spreads and some fruit and cereals. Plus eggs cooked to order. The private lagoon and spa were the main highlights. For the price tag, I can’t help but feel that it is a bit overpriced compared to some of the other top notch resorts in Asia and Europe.

Un posto magico. Vale la pena soggiornarci almeno 1 notte. Il costo è elevato ma vale tutti i soldi spesi. Punto strategico per moltissime escursioni da fare in autonomia noleggiando una macchina. L’Islanda è Un’esperienza UNICA. A presto

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this unique spa hotel in Iceland. Ours was a romantic package which incl a 60 mins in-water massage and 2 dinners. The staff was very courteous. We arrived early in the morning and they let us use their spa right away. The only thing I would say is they didn’t really introduce the spa to us at the beginning therefore we were a bit lost regarding the arrangement for different areas and the self help skincare services. One of the staff who’s the spa photographer was nice enough to get one of the staff to do a formal introduction to us afterwards. The room was great, no TV so really are going to have a quiet ‘retreat’. Food was good and wine pairing is available. The skincare time was nice if you go as a couple. You got a choice of both private and public lagoon which I strongly encourage you to try both as the feel was really different in a nice way. They have morning yoga class and afternoon coffee time for their guest. We surely would come again!

Best spa we have ever done. It was pretty expensive but you got your own car park away from the normal one. You arrive in the hotel and check in. You get shown your room for you to privately get changed and washed. Then you go on spa tour! 5 pools, layered and overflowing from one to the next. A outdoor sauna where you do a plunge pool after. A view point over the general admission blue lagoon. Large egg chairs. Another sauna (indoors) The ritual which was amazing. There was no scrimping on the products. Scrubs, mud masks, oils etc. 6 products in total I believe. Access to the general lagoon Quiet rooms (we didn’t use so can not comment) One free drink Phone free so there isn’t phones everywhere like the normal blue lagoon. A member of staff is going around the pool and takes photos for you away from other guests and emails them to you. Best spa we have done and worth the extra costs. Not busy and most of the time you’re the only one using the sauna or in one of the pools. Best of all not skimping on the products for you to use! Only bad (very very minor) thing was the tour and pre wash was within you 5 hours. This should be before you start to use the facilities.

Als Repeater wurden wir mit einem fröhlichen "willkommen zurück" begrüßt und genossen einen Schluck Champagner, während die Formalitäten für uns erledigt wurden und konnten dann auch schon direkt ins Zimmer. Das Zimmer war wie immer sehr sauber und in perfektem Zustand, alles da, auch die Bademäntel und Flipflops in der richtigen Größe. Die Materialität, die abgestimmten Farben und das Lichtkonzept passen perfekt in die Umgebung und lassen mich immer schnell zur Ruhe kommen. Mein Highlight im Zimmer ist immer wieder die Dusche, sie ist einfach perfekt. Das Spa war in einem top Zustand, immer aufgeräumt und draußen am Rand der Lagune sammelten sich diesmal auch keine leeren Gläser (wie es während der Pandemie hin und wieder vorkam), sehr gut. Obwohl Hotel und Spa ausgebucht waren, hatten wir nie das Gefühl, dass es überfüllt war. Sehr erholsam. Das Essen war auch immer großartig, egal ob beim Frühstück, im Spa Restaurant oder im Moss. Danke für den Aurora Wake Up Call, es hat sich gelohnt, aufzustehen! Das war ein toller Februar-Kurztrip, wir freuen uns jetzt schon, im September wieder da zu sein!
