菲舍布利克酒店(Hotel Fiescherblick)

Mooi gerenoveerd hotel in Scandinavische stijl. De kamer die wij hadden was mooi ingericht en erg ruim met een apart toilet, mooie badkamer en prachtig uitzicht op de eiger. Er is een mooi groot terras voor het hotel waar het heerlijk vertoeven is met dat prachtige uitzicht. Het restaurant is uitzonderlijk goed en er wordt gekookt op sterrenniveau. Het ontbijt is voldoende met veel streekproducten maar niet heel uitgebreid. Het personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. 2 kleine puntjes: we hebben op de 2e dag aangegeven dat 1 van onze tv’s het niet deed en hier is helaas niet naar gekeken. Ook waren we met zijn drieën maar er stonden slechts 2 glazen en 2 koffiekopjes. We hebben een geweldig verblijf gehad en komen zeker terug !

Hotel Fiescherblick has it all … We have stayed in Fiescherblick for a week in February 2024 and while being away from home, we felt at home from the first minute. Hosted (at home 😉) by Lars upon arrival, this feeling was only reinforced every morning when ordering our first cappuccino of the day and enjoying breakfast. The charm and availability of the internal staff is exceptional and energizing. Whenever you have question, the answer is given in an accurate way with a smile. Rooms ? Great ! Diner ? Even greater ! A place to remember (and return to!)

Fantastic boutique hotel. We had a lovely stay. Lars and Mathias and their team gave us wonderful and personal service. The hotel is spotless and decked out in a Scandinavian style which is subtle as well looking stylish and modern. We will definitely be back. Jens Bertelsen

We had a fantastic 3-day stay at Fiescherblick. You walk into the hotel and you get a sense that everyone who works here does so with a strong sense of ownership, which is in a way distinct from the professional staff of large hotel chains in pleasant and authentic ways. We and especially our four legged friend were welcomed warmly and I enjoyed my conversations with everyone who works here. We had the loft room with a great view of the Eiger and Wetterhorn and the glaciers in between. One of the retractable sunroofs in the room offered the view of Wetterhorn from the bed. Unlike other rooms, I think, loft room had a spacious mini fridge. They don’t offer free bottles of water, but this is because tap water is clean in Grindelwald and because Fiescherblick is seeking to be environment-friendly in reducing waste and energy, which I strongly support. The best thing about the hotel for me was the combination of the stylish lodging with an intimate and superb kitchen. The breakfast spread is not as extensive as some other hotels but every item pulls a punch. We felt so full after each breakfast to keep us strong for the morning hikes. Bakery items are excellent and a special mention for a fried egg (free) and a rosti (small surcharge) combination, which has become our favorite. Dinner was splendid, with exciting wine pairings by Lars himself. We fell in love with Swiss wine, for which Fiescherblick gave us many good intro lessons. Lars spent years at Koks a legendary starred restaurant in the Faroe Islands (now in Greenland) and the style of cooking and the fresh ingredient used reminded me of how much I used to love going to Scandinavia.

Très gros coup de cœur ! Un hôtel magnifique et un personnel très sympathiques, accueillant ! La vue de la chambre était magnifique ! Nous avons aussi essayé le restaurant ! Très belle découverte ! Mais il ne faut pas être difficile car on mange de tout et de toute les couleurs 😝

We had an amazing stay! The hotel staff was so accommodating and happy to help with any and all questions we had. We were always greeted with a smile. The rooms were beautiful with breathtaking views of the mountains. The outdoor spa was a huge bonus as well! I highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Grindelwald.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The hospitality was incredible. They helped with all our questions for activities and even booking us a restaurant on the day their restaurant was closed. The view from the spa was incredible! We had dinner the last night of our stay and it was amazing. I have been to a few Michelin star restaurants before and they hit the mark just as good. I think it was just as good as any Michelin restaurant we have been to. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay and would come back again!
