佈德格特旅館(BUD Gett Hostels)

Prima verblijf als je een paar dagen in de stad Groningen verblijft. Schone kamers, wel een beetje krap maar dat is ok voor een kort verblijf. De plek is ook erg centraal gelegen met veel leuke cafés en restaurants in de buurt. Kom er zeker terug.

Prima voor een dagje Groningen. Bedden waren opgemaakt en een eigen douche en wc.. Een minpunje. De afzuiging in de badkamer was er niet, of was stuk

Keurige basic overnachting midden in het centrum. Lekker bed, goede douche. Meer heb je niet nodig!

Super Location, freundliches Personal und schöner Lobbybereich mit Bar.

Bud Gett Hostel in Groningen is part of the Martini Hotels Group. The hostel is located in the Martini Hotel in the center of Groningen city. Besides bunk beds in dormitories the hostel offers a few small 2-person-rooms with a pre-fab bathroom. Much more privacy than a dormitory and your own shower for a reasonable price. I needed a room for one night on a weekday and paid 65 Euros in July '23 (high season). A standard room in every hotel is much more expensive in high season (over a 100 Euros). The people were very kind and helpful, the room was small, but very clean and comfortable, the location is great to explore Groningen and you are surrounded by restaurants and bars. It's a hostel so I expected some nuisance in the night from the dormitories, but that wasn't too bad. I had a good night sleep. Next time I am visiting Groningen I will absolutely book a room at Bud Gett Hotels again.

The staff were nice, convenient location. Room was clean and bedding nice. Hotel was clean. Didn’t like the very loud guests slamming doors at 4am and the smell of Marijauna in the hallway all day.

After checking out there we could make use of the luggage storage room and collect our suitcase at the end of the day. Super!

The hostel is centrally located. Check-in was a bit complicated via the Martini hotel next door. It's worth renting a bike for €15 per day. Don't expect any creature comforts and you'll even need to buy your own soap (never experienced that before).

I spent 2 nights in this hostel (private room). Location is great, around 10 min from the train station, same for the Grote Markt. In front of the hostel there is a bus stop. Around there are restaurants and also a supermarket. Reception is not open 24h, so in case there is nobody it is necessary to go at the Martini hotel. I had a double room, but room size in my opinion is more for 1 person than 2. Room is very basic. Bed, 2 small cubic boxes for personal stuff, a night desk and 3 hooks to hang clothes. There was also a tv that I have never used. The bathroom was super small. In the bathroom there was no soap but I got some at the reception after I asked. Breakfast buffet was extra (but at reasonable price) with good choice of cheese, cold cuts, drinks, bread, eggs, etc. It was good. It was served at Martini hotel. During Saturday night there were people doing noise outside...not sure if it was would have been the same with somebody 24h at the reception. There is also an common area with tables and microwave, glasses, cuttlery, etc that I guess can be used by the guess can be used by guests but didn't ask. In my opinion this hostel a good choice for a short period.
