Guildford本身就4家酒店，這家超過100年歷史的老酒店位置就在高街上，但是事情的另一面就是酒店確實太老舊了，設施陳舊沒有電梯，屋裡地面都是斜坡，一不小心容易摔倒.

Great location for somewhere to stay, except for car parking
The bathroom in the room was wonderful, as was the comfy bed, but the hotel is in need of some major refurbishments (carpets, curtains, walls, etc) - not modernisation but refurb

Att bo i ett gammalt genuint engelskt hotell som detta är att vara med i en film. Takbjälkar, lågt i tak, heltäckningsmattor, englasfönster kombinerat med en uppfräschning från senare år och en serviceinriktad personal var härligt.

The property and the staff were excellent. What wasn't excellent was that there was no record of my booking when I arrived. Luckily there was a room left and the receptionist was superb in dealing with this difficult issue - top marks for that. Room comfy and large and barely any noise came through from the bar next door.

The hotel is within the city centre where all the restaurants and shops are. Room was big and cozy but when I arrived there were strands of hair in the shower, trash bin was not emptied, the floor has small rocks or soiled. I don’t think it was vacuumed. Kettle has water, table has water marks from a cup. It was alright but the room doesn’t have a fridge. I booked for a luxury suite and the picture is not what was offered to me.

Beautiful old building in the heart of Guildford. A lot of stairs to the room and a disturbing amount of split levels and turns to locate the room. The room was clean and tidy but the floor was so uneven that it was hard to get from the bed to the bathroom and back in the night without falling over. The bed is actually on a slope. Not one to stay in when drunk. Otherwise great.

A lovely, historic hotel in the centre of town, these old buildings have their challenges, but in general everything was great. The team were very welcoming, even late at night, and breakfast in the "Fallen Angel" was quirky and good too.
