海濱度假村酒店(Beachside Resort Hotel)

The hotel was amazing and you only had to cross one street to be directly at the beach’s entrance. The breakfast selection was a bit lacking (think cereal, oa**eal, and muffins) but was sufficient enough to fuel the day. The floor of my room was very grainy with sand but that’s to be expected as a beach hotel. Housekeeping was excellent about providing requested sheets, towels and toilet paper in a timely manner. One inconvenience that feels worth mentioning is that their was only one easily accessible plug close to appliances so we could not have the fridge, microwave and tv plugged in at once, however this was not a problem in other trip-goers rooms so perhaps this is just a single room problem. There are a few of outdoor seating spaces that provided a great relaxation spot. The photos below are some of the photos taken of the view from the hotels staircase. The pool was a great escape and a great place to bring kids when the beach is not possible. This hotel was also extremely understanding and accommodating for a child with limited movement ability. If you are not looking for anything too fancy but a decent place to stay while in Gulf Shores, this is definitely a spot that I would recommend.

It was a nice place but we had issues with the internet all week and the air conditioner. The view was good and the pool was nice.

I was grateful the pool was back in service the day I checked in on 27 May 2022, but the hotel was undergoing major maintenance and only one elevator was functional for the entire building. The cleaning crew was inadequate for the number of guests, so the three days I was with my family, no cleaning service was provided. I had to ask to replace towels. The clerks at the service desks always responded to my requests but seemed annoyed anytime I asked for anything. The food for breakfast was good but no juice was available for the entire 3 day stay. There is no place to eat breakfast in the breakfast area and the room had no table to eat meals off. My family had to eat over the bed which did not work out so well.

Nice for the price. Great location, close to beaches, coffee, restaurants and shops. No frills but there is a full size fridge and microwave in the room which is handy for drinks and snacks. Our room wasn’t very clean so make sure to pack cleaning wipes.

The rooms are updated, the pool placement is unique and the beds were comfy. It was convenient to lots of places to eat or shop. It wasn’t as close to the beach as I thought. I didn’t love walking across 4 busy lanes of traffic to the beach access and you can’t see the beach, even from the top floor. We were double booked, I walked in on someone! The next room wasn’t completely clean, the toilet was dirty. I didn’t appreciate the front desk lady questioning me three times and then warning me about the camera system because she didn’t believe that the four of us arrived in one car.

Nice place, great location. Front desk very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean, just a couple of mold spots on walls. Breakfast was ok, not many choices, but for the price I don't think you will get better.

We found someone’s sock under the edge of the sofa and someone with long black hair had left strands on the shower wall. The bed was clean the floors were clean and the refrigerator was clean. The bed was comfortable and it was convenient to the beach and easy to walk to other places.
