We only had 1 night at the Red Chief Motel but what a wonderful country experience. Ray and his little helper were very kind and welcoming upon arrival which provided a great first impression. The room was clean & comfortable and as it was winter the A/C worked great to heat up the space. For a real satisfying stay I would recommend this place for sure!

Myself and my wife stayed at the Gunnedah LodgeMotel and found the stay very average. After looking at their website it told us that there were laundry facilities which there were not, the website also said there is onsite dining which there was not. Me and my wife both have disabilities but it was not conducive to people with disabilities as there were no grab rails or non slip showers to make it safer for people with disabilities. We were also charged $100 cleaning fee which was an excessive amount While the stay in gunnedah was delightful i will commend the cleaners that were very friendly and helped make the stay more enjoyable. I will not stay there again next time we visit
