綠色家庭旅館(Green Homestay)

I didn't recommend any person. It is cheap hotel but far from downtown 9 Kilometers so if you want go downtown you will waste so much many far taxi or long time wait for bus.

Green homestay est un petit paradis sur l'île de Cat Ba que vous soyez seul, en couple ou en famille. Nous avons reservé un cottage très confortable. au bord de la piscine, face à un jardin magnifiquement entretenu. Le propriétaire parle anglais. Très professionnel, il a su nous renseigner sur les sorties en bateau dans la baie de Lan Ha et Ha Long. Location de scooter sur place, restauration excellente et personnel accueillant. Quant à l île elle-même, très sauvage et verdoyante, loin du tourisme de masse. À privilégier ! Nous recommandons vivement

What a fantastic stay! The rooms were very clean with modern appliances (including in the bathroom). The A/C worked very well and the pool was clean and very nice to hang out in. The real highlight is the owner and his family! He is so sweet and his kids are adorable. He went out of his way to accommodate us and we couldn’t say better things! There is also a lovely view from the pool and some of the rooms. Highly highly recommend!

Very nice home stay ! The owner is very kind and the homestay very quiet and peaceful ! You’ll find everything that you need, food, fire pits, billards, scooter rental with good prices ! The rooms are very comfortable with everything that you want ! Cat ba and all activities are at 10 minutes by scooter, I recommend a lot !

We stayed at Green Homestay for 2 nights during our holiday on Cat Ba island. We had one of the new rooms with the blue metal roof. We enjoyed the setting, the modern room and the space around the homestay. However it was not quiet during our stay there. What seem to be more new rooms are being constructed right next to our room, there are neighbours nearby who sometimes play music that can be heard, and on the last day in the morning a very loud machine was run at the reception area which spoiled our breakfast. If you’re sensitive to noise, I would check with the property before booking whether there is any construction still going on. If not, I can recommend this place.

Family stay with 10 and 6 year old. Good family room, good food and quiet green location. Easy local bus into Cat Ba town. Host has excellent English and local knowledge and will arrange any travel requirements. Host family give very personal attention to guests always with a happy smile.

Lovely place - meets the expectations we had from the pictures we saw online. The garden areas were really beautiful and obviously a labor of love. A nice feature of the rooms are the smart tvs in each to watch Netflix, YouTube , Prime etc. And the hottest showers we had in the country ! The pool was clean and surprisingly refreshing given the extraordinary heat when we were there. Food was nice - freshly prepared and the owner is very helpful and speaks good English - he booked us a private tour of Lan Ha Bay that was a highlight of our trip- just the two of us on a small boat with a lunch prepared onboard - some of the best food we had in all of the 3 weeks we spent in Vietnam ! I highly recommend doing this tour !
