The best thing was the friendliness of the staff. However that did not make up for finding pills,pennies & clumps of hair on the floor of the room upon check in. It also does not diminish that our room was not “freshened” one day - which if it was the policy - that would be fine. I mentioned it to the front desk- again friendly and helpful- and she arranged for the room to be cleaned, but when we returned in the evening there was blood ( not mine) on the pillow case. The neighbors upstairs were ridiculously loud from 3:15 AM on so we were glad our stay was over. We were told that since we booked through *******, there was nothing the front desk could do to try to compensate for the inconvenience! Something to think about.

The front desk staff is kind and inviting. They are very quick too! The morning breakfast staff is also wonderful and accommodating. Just to note, I’ve stayed in two different rooms at this hotel now and both rooms had TV remotes that barely worked. I couldn’t adjust the volume at all and the power button took multiple attempts to work. The hot water in the shower also took over 10 minutes to warm up and there is considerable mildew on the ceiling in room 101. Not worrisome mildew but it just gives the feeling of uncleanliness.

Front office staff not particularly friendly although I was expecting that from prior reviews. It appeared that the place was pretty full. Our room was clean and comfortable, like other Holiday Express motels we have been in. We don’t mind paying a little more to stay in these locations. All in all a satisfactory experience!

The gentleman working the front desk was super polite and nice while checking us in. However, the staff working breakfast was miserable. She was slamming items around and was extremely rude. My son was nervous to go and get another serving alone because of her bad attitude. The room was clean and the hotel seemed well kept.

We stopped here on the way home from Vacation after a long days driving. It was about 11pm at check in and the guy at the front desk was so rude. Our rooms were clean-ish, but the bathrooms were broken. The shower curtain rod wouldn’t hold up the shower curtain, and the toilet wouldn’t flush, and the showers had absolutely no cold water. When I tried to tell them at the front desk the next morning, they didn’t seem to even care. Definitely would not stay again

The bedding had hair and crumbs in the bed when we turned it down. Parts of the floor were not vacuumed. The door looked like it was broken into but we were told the lock stuck one time and staff had to break into the room. There was a pair of pants in the closet that was not removed when cleaned. The staff did remake the bed with fresh linens when we told them about the dirty sheets.

I had mutiple reservations but wont use Holiday Inns again. Neither the pool nor the spa were heated. Bees in room 303 and hallway. Had to move our stuff ourselves to 310. Service never showed up to get room safe working in 113. Sounded like cattle being herded above 113. Coffee was horrible in lobby. Good thing Keurig coffee in room was good.

Our room was not ready. Door parts lying on the floor at 645. We where locked in the room and couldnt get out briefly. We couldn't leave for dinner for room couldnt be locked, and they told us there wasnt another room. Door was finally lockable 3 hours later but couldnt be unlocked. We were told that management would open our room for us on our return from dinner. On our return, front desk told us that there was no hard key and maintenence was trying to break into our room as we spoke. It was now 10 pm. We went upstairs to watch maintenance break into our room with crow bars. I took some good photos of this crap. After they broke the door in, we were told to get our things and go to the front desk. At 1015 at night the manager gave us someone elses room that hadnt arrived yet. We never got good rest for my wife was restless all night thinking that someone else was going to be mad at us for taking their room. In the am, the working manager tried to tell me that she new nothing of any of the events, and that we could help our selves to a water to travel with. We are not happy with this establishment. It seems like nobody cares about our terrible stay.
