Tom and his team do a wonderful job making sure you quickly feel at home. It is a beautiful spot that doesn't feel too crowded despite being very popular with guests (the rooms are nicely dispersed throughout the resort). All of the staff were helpful telling us how to get to various spots around the island, and, in many cases, driving us there themselves. We hope to be able to go back someday!

The warm welcome every guest recieves is extraordinary! They take the time to walk you around giving you a tour and then taking you to your accomodation and making sure you have everything you need.. Never experienced that before. The only things I found that I wasn't aware of was the amount of steps involved, bad knees beware lol and I visited at the steepest pricing time of the year. sticker shock plus I paid 60 a day for cleaning services even though I kept the do not disturb sign up and no one entered my room. left it hardly used so overall the price was high. The staff however are wonderful and the location is breathtaking. The winds were prevalent my entire stay and thr sun finally came out my last day and a half but who cares...you're in Bermuda!!

My mom and I stayed for a week at Pompano recently. From the minute we arrived, the staff went above and beyond. The beach is a small private beach with a bar (the bartender was willing to wade into the ocean to deliver drinks), pool noodles, chairs, umbrellas, as rafts. Snorkeling gear was also available. The water is unbelievably clear and shallow pretty far out. The restaurants were great too. One restaurant has a fixed menu and the other changes nightly. We did the meal plan which was 30 dollars extra per person and included a FIVE COURSE dinner. They also had a manager party on Monday night that was free appetizers and rum swizzles, which culminated in a BBQ buffet at The Cedar Room. They chefs were grilling steak, chicken, fish (try the wahoo), potatoes, corn, and ribs. This really feels like the kind of thing that one can only get at a small family owned resort, which this one is, having been started in the 1950s and continually owned and operated by the same family. One can really tell a lot about a resort by how the employees act, and how many guests are returning guests. There was a certain sense of loyalty amongst the staff and returning guests. Many of the staff are long term employees, and a lot of the guests we talked to were on at least their fourth visit. Any maintenance was performed quickly. The views from the ocean front balcony were beautiful. Thank you for a great stay. I’ll be back.

Staff and food was outstanding. There are needs for some upgrades and repairs but the staff and culinary makes up for any down falls. Unfortunately for us, we were there during a very rainy time.....we rented an ev which would of soften the weather giving us options to explore on rain days. Unfortunately, we had to turn it in as the vehicle leaked and was wet inside and we could not get the windshield to defog. We made the best from this situation and took cabs which was a disappoin**ent as we were looking so forward to this adventure!

My husband and I went for a short 4 day getaway. Wish it could’ve been longer. The beautiful ocean views from your room and all dining areas were amazing. The food was excellent and the staff were incredible! We will definitely be back!

The family feel and friendly staff made this short vacation a most enjoyable and memorable experience!! Swimming on their private beach and the out of this world cuisine made Pompano Beach Club a place we will return to again and again!!!

Excellent resort, terrific food, and wonderful staff. Perfect for a family or a getaway. Right on the gorgeous beach. Our room was large with a large patio overlooking the water. Highly recommend this resort.

To love this resort is all about loving the staff, ownership and the ocean views. It is not a five star hotel. The service was great, and the on site owner actually picked us up from the local ferry. The servers were friendly and anxious to make sure you were happy. The ocean views were over the top beautiful. Previous reviewers mentioned some areas on the resort could “use a little love”. I would agree with this, but wouldn’t stop me from returning. The resort is a solid 40 minute commute to the airport, so be prepared to spend at least 100 dollars round trip with the bee-line transport service, who did a great job. The drivers were personable and knowledgeable about the island and made the trip go by quickly. The resort is a 25 dollar taxi trip to Hamilton (one way), and you can take the ferry back if you’d like. The ferry and buses are accessible and inexpensive. It cost my wife and I 9 dollars for both of us to take the ferry back from Hamilton, and the resort will send someone to come and pick you up at the dock. The MAP meal offer (breakfast and dinner) is a great value. We enjoyed ourselves. The friendly service and room views will keep you coming back!
