Do your homework on these homes. Very steep and winding access driveway is in poor repair and is dangerous when wet. Buggies have no traction down steep ramps when wet. Some homes have steep stairs on entry to the premises so not great for those with mobility issues. House 1 has a good living area on the main level with one bedroom on this level so those with mobility issues can avoid stairs but laundry more bedrooms and pool are downstairs. Air conditioning kept stopping in spite of repeated efforts to fix. Only 2 burners out or 4 on the BBQ worked so gave up. Kitchen cupboards are gimmicky and parts of the mechanisms and part of the dishwasher were left in cupboards. Glass doors have dropped (should be a building warranty issue to repair) difficult to open and close as they grind on the bottom of the door frame and will only get worse. Many issues to fix on what appear be relatively new builds. I’d hate to see the condition of these houses in a few years time. Very disappointing for the money. Will try somewhere else next time.

This was the most horrendous experience I have ever had on a family 'holiday', for my daughter's wedding. Firstly our original booking was cancelled that we took 3 days as a large family to decide upon very early in the year for Nov 2023. We then got given a supposed upgrade. Well, it was not where we wanted to be on the island as we had to split family up as we couldn't get a large enough place for the time we wanted. But when they cancelled our booking they suddenly had one large enough, at an extra cost of course, go figure! We had booked 4 different accomodations!! Power points where dangerous, plugs fell out and are a fire hazard and need to be attended to immediately. The broken furniture with the balcony railings being too low and chairs too high are extremely dangerous for children of which we had 3 who had to be supervised at all times when in the unit, so very stressful. The unit was disgustingly dirty especially with dust, which for a chronic asthmatic child this was a huge problem. Again so stressful. Fold out beds supplied where not placed in rooms and had to be set up. Original booking didn't have fold outs! You had to climb over fold outs to get into a bed. Broken dishes chipped glasses, I could go on and on but you get the picture. Save yourself a fortune go to magnetic island instead at least it's reasonably priced and the people are beautiful and helpful.

On arrival at the airport Hamilton Island Holiday Homes were already waiting for us and they were very efficient in processing the necessary paperwork and instructed us in the use of our buggy which was included in the rental of our apartment. We stayed in Frangipani 105. The apartment was clean and spacious and had a lovely view over Catseye beach. The pool which was next to our apartment was very nice and even had an awning above the pool to protect you from the sun when swimming. Our only problem with our apartment was a missing bath plug. This was quickly rectified by HIHH. A very special thank you to Angus from HIHH who managed to secure accommodation for us for an extra night when our Virgin flight was suddenly cancelled at the last moment due to a technical fault. He certainly went over and above in terms of customer service. Thank you again.

I’ve been using Hamilton Island holiday homes for years. The last time I came in2019, the office as it currently stands, did not exist. I previously had a person with my name on a board directly after disembarking the flight. That didn’t occur this time. No information was given as to where I had to go to collect accommodation or buggy keys. The signage is small and hard to read. Perhaps more detailed information prior to arrival would be helpful. Accommodation was excellent and could not fault the service. This accommodation allows free 30 minutes daily use of non motorised water sports which was very convenient since the island is expensive.

I went to stay in Reef View Hotel on a work trip, I went to the bakery to get a sausage roll. I saw the manager and the CEO telling one of the staff in a harsh voice to get back to work, the staff member had a hand injury and couldn't work and was exhausted, I had a sneaky look round the back when going to the toilet, kitchen was filthy covered in black grease. Staff was overworked and sweating and crying.

O NOT STAY IN HIDDEN COVE 11 & PLEASE LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE TO STAY Many things wrong with apartment eg toilet door doesn't close, bathroom door cant be open if you want to get into drawers (very tiny), you can’t sit on balcony unless you want to fight all the birds for your food, NOT a 3 bedroom apartment as one room was obviously never meant to have someone sleeping in it due to a number of things, extremely steep and many steps in entry so very DANGEROUS for older ones or children. I could go on. Lastly, the driveway ramps are DANGEROUS. They are missing tiles EVERYWHERE causing many bad potholes. We had an accident right next to our apartment on one of the ramps. The buggy flipped onto its side causing severe facial injuries to a woman! Two days after there was still blood, plastic, nuts and bolts on the driveway. Noone cleaned it up. Worst of all…the owners of the apartment didnt care about our experience at their unit whatsoever, they just care to take your thousands of dollars.

Exceptional service. The staff greeting us at the office on arrival were excellent, friendly and helpful. The accommodation was great. We stayed at Hidden Cove, clean, comfortable and private. A buggy comes with the rental.

Stayed in hidden cove 13 for 4 nights. I believe hidden cove are some of the newest properties available on the island. Check in and check out were easy and staff were friendly and enthusiastic. A golf buggy was provided with the accomodation with a great demonstration on how to operate it given by HIHH staff. The property itself was amazing - modern and any pics of the view don’t do it justice. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. It also had aircon in both the living area and bedrooms which was great to escape the hot and humid weather in March. I have no complaints about the accomodation at all. Whilst not directly related to the accomodation, it is highly recommended to book dinner a few weeks in advance to ensure you get the time you want, and yes everything is expensive, it’s an island. The IGA at the Marina is not far away and stocks everything you need. Doing your own research in general is highly recommended before arriving - download the Hamilton island app. Only issue with HIHH if you would call it an issue is the minimum 4 night stay requirement. I’d definitely return more frequently for shorter stays if available. There seems to be vacancies of 2-3 nights on the property calendars which don’t get filled. Understand there are cleaning costs and what not but would happily pay a higher rate for a shorter stay. I would definitely recommend and book through HIHH again.
