卡拉威花園度假村(Callaway Resort & Gardens)

Booked a room ay the lodge for a 1 night Valentine's surprise getaway for my girlfriend and I. Everything was excellent from the Restaurant and Bar areas (& employees) to the room. My Prime rib was awesome. There supposed ceviche style shrimp appetizer can use an overhaul. As a person who makes ceviche at home regularly, this was no more than shrimp & Italian dressing.

I really enjoyed this quiet get away. They are doing a great job with the remolding. The company cares about the property and even with it being the off season. They are making changes that will make it amazing this spring/summer. I will come back. The beds were super soft, my only quibble. The food was delicious and even enough vegetarian options that was nice for my girlfriend. All in all I will come back

Check-in was a breeze & we loved the trolley service to Fantasy in Lights. Our first night was rough due to some very loud next door neighbors. The next night they were gone but above us was the same so I'm assuming very thin walls allowing lots of noise to be heard. Coffee pot was horrible & asking for extra coffee felt like a burden for the front desk. Room was very clean & the tub was perfect after a cold night touring lights. Overall decent room for an expensive price.

Checkin started at 4 Waited in line to check in, got to desk Was notified that cottage was not ready and they would call me when ready. Cottage was ready at 715, had to go back to desk and get key and location of cottage. Was given an adjus**ent(not charged for resort fee $40) which i do not think that covers my inconvenience. Some of the facilities were not open.

It was hard to get information and I finally asked the valet guy some my questions. He was very helpful. I could see that the front desk was under staffed, but this was my first visit and I needed a friendly person. The facility was nice.

Property was clean and well presented. Staff, with a few exceptions were extremely cordial and effective

Callaway Lodge is beautifully set among the trees and is all decorated for Chris**as. The staff is attentive and friendly. A wonderful place for couples or like us, with 20 family members. This resort never disappoints.

Absolutely gorgeous property and amenities on site. The staff was super friendly and accommodating.

The hotel was Beautiful. We enjoyed driving and hiking. We loved the lights. When we checked in our clerk was not very friendly. He didn't give us any information. And the only other negative was the price of food. It was extremely unreasonable.
