Great location! Beautiful views from the window of the city. Nice weekend in Hartford!

I was extremely upset I had to leave the hotel at 10:30pm because people were running and hollering up and down the hallways all night which was scaring my daughter we were having a girls get away night we live close so I ended up taking her home because she couldn’t sleep

On arrival, the staff were extremely pleasant and accommodating. The lobby had a wonderful lounge and Starbucks that was very convenient, clean and spacious. My issue was with the valet. I rented a Tesla and I was low on range when I arrived. The valet said they would charge it overnight - which gave me assurance. When I picked up my vehicle, it had not been charged and I needed to go to Boston airport. I then had to find a nearby Tesla charging station and it delayed by trip by 40 minutes and I nearly missed my flight. This was VERY disappointing.

They couldn't find one of our resies because they had put it under a first name, valet couldn't find our car because they dropped a #, no shower gel in container, towels thin and old.

Unfortunately my last stay here but def my best spot to stay while visiting my daughter at UHart the last 4 years Great job Marriot

We stayed for 3 night and the room was meticulously cleaned every day. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The city view was excellent from the 18th floor. The room was quiet despite being very near the elevator. The location was excellent. We walked to restaurants and to the Hartford Marathon. The Starbucks in the lobby was busy, allow extra time to get your coffee. The room also has a coffee maker, but there were only 2 pods and 1 was decaf. We didn’t use parking. I used the gym, it was fine. The shower had great water pressure. There was a large closet and plenty of power outlets. No complaints. Would stay there again.

We've stayed at the Downtown Marriott a number of times. It's a good stay for nights before an early flight out of the Hartford Airport. Having the Capital Grill immediately across the street is a great bonus. Having the Starbuck's in the lobby is also pretty great. We will continue to use the Downtown Marriott.

Overall staff was super friendly! We had a very short stay, just one night, however we did notice that our room still did have someone else’s hair on the bedding as well as another guests old socks left on the floor. It did make the room feel as though it was not cleaned as well as it should have been.

Great stay for my daughter's college graduation. Fabulous bar, stellar food (at the bar and from room service), loved the hot tub. Comfortable sized room and the beds were perfect and had the most amazing pillows. Highly recommend!

This Marriott is downtown, attached to the convention center. It is very expensive for the basic nature of the room. The TV didn't work, but it was too late at night upon check-in to consider moving rooms. A lone hangar in the closet; additional brought to the room when requested. The furnishings looked rundown. I contacted hotel in advance that my son would arrive 5 hours early, and they responded he could enter room with a credit card. Upon arrival they said that he was only 18 and therefore must wait in the lobby for the 5 hours until we arrive. Parking expensive, particularly given it was a weekend and street parking free and parking garage empty.

The hostesses at check-in and check-out were amazing, very friendly, accommodating and very detailed oriented. Want to give a special thanks to Christine (vivo) she added to our wonderful Valentines Day celebration, my wife is still in amazement!!!! Very satisfied couple, you have repeat customers!!! Thank you Marriott and its staff !!!!!!

Overall disappointing. Buffet was $19 per person but had literally only 5 options available between entrees and sides, and NONE of it was hot. Felt and tasted like it was just sitting on the counter all day, everything was cold. That was properly addressed by very friendly staff and we were not charged. Amenities poor as we were told specifically the hot tub was open because that was my condition for booking, come to find out we were mislead and it was closed. Wallpaper in our room was peeling down, looked very out of place considering how beautiful the rest of the hotel is.

I love how there is dinner option right outside the hotel.

We've stayed for years at the Bradley Sheraton at the Bradley airport. It can't be beat for convenience and it is affordable. Staying in downtown Hartford is a recent thing for us. The Marriott is newer, certainly more elegant and just across the street from The Capital Grill which is a huge plus. For very early AM flights we will probably stay at the Bradley Sheraton... if things aren't quite so tight, we'll probably go with the Marriott.
