The industrial train yard just a couple of feet from the window, the noise from the cars crashing together, the noisy people who congregated outside our window and yelled and raced car engines in that back lot all night, the extreme weather conditions and apparent lack of insulation to keep the cold out, we ran the heater and it's as if it wasn't even on.

This is an older hotel that has been better kept up than some in the area. There were some issues with a roof leak in one hallway, vending machines that were not "filled", and a stuttering outdoor light outside our room that was a bit irritating during the night. The beds and room were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful when asked for something. The only true "bad" was that the water pressure in the shower was abysmal. However, I'm not sure if that was because of the hotel, or because of the nearby freeway construction that may have impacted the area. The morning breakfast stood out as being very good as compared to other continental breakfasts, making the start of the day much easier for us in our travels. It was actually better than a local restaurant we ate at the following morning with family and friends.

It was a pleasant stay. We got conjoined rooms for a couple nights. Everything was clean. But a loud vibrating sound would come on when you try to draw a bath. We would give full stars but the outdoor pool was closed due to out of season. Also, the gym room could use some upgraded equipment and a new exercise ball. The elliptical makes a sound and needs oiling or something. It is not smooth at all. The gym TV doesn't come on. The whole staff was so nice. The office ladies made sure to make our rooms together.

We waited 30 minutes for anyone to show up at the check in desk at 10 o clock at night after a long day of driving. The whole place smelled like cigarette smoke including our “smoke free” room. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable and the room/bathroom was filthy.

There were crushed doritos under the desk, candy wrappers next to the bed, multiple hairs on the toilet, a thick layer of dust on the head board and tv, and multiple pairs of mens underwear in the top drawer of the dresser.

Very clean, all staff very friendly, everything worked well. Location close to downtown with a good price point. Most of the room and hotel seemed updated except for the tub and toilet aspect of the bathroom. But it was clean and nonproblem

Good value, especially if you're just looking for an overnight accommodation. Smaller room but reasonably remodeled and quite comfortable. Breakfast doesn't begin until 7:00 which was too late for me.

Staff very professional and helpful. Construction along access points made access difficult. Very quiet and privacy friendly. Thanks for great service.
