阿克拉海灘酒店(Accra Beach Hotel)

Accra’s location is the best. So many options around to dine plus it’s easily accessible to many of the tourist attractions. There is a supermarket right in front which is very convenient. The boardwalk is just 5 minutes walk and it’s one of the most peaceful places.

Foi um dos piores hotéis que já fiquei. Tivemos que esperar duas horas para liberarem um quarto (o checkin é as 15 e so liberaram as 17) num quarto completamente diferente do reservado (quarto velho e sem varanda, com vista para um terreno baldio cheio de mosquito). Reclamamos junto a recepção que simplesmente nos ignorou e disse que não podiam fazer nada, que esse era o quarto que tínhamos reservado (e não, não era). Junto conosco havia um outro casal com o mesmo tipo de quarto e que aí sim, tinha varanda e era mais novo. Mesmo valor pago. A recepçao e atendimento foram horriveis, muito mal humorados. O hotel precisa de uma reforma. A.piscina está precisando de reparos. Só fique nesse hotel se realmente não encontrar outra opção em Barbados.

the room we initially received was so dark, I had to go outside to apply my lipstick! After much complaining we were finally transferred to a better room. This room was still dark but did have some overhead lights. I made a reservation for my son and requested that he not be assigned to such a dark room as we were. a

We booked a stay at Accra through AAVacations. It was a giant mistake. The place itself is a rundown hotel with ineffective front desk staff who don't stand by their word. Our room wasn't cleaned 2 nights in a row and we had to argue with a very rude, unfriendly, dismissive front desk staff member to get it done on the 2nd night. One manager even took my complaint and did absolutely nothing about it. She looked completely disinterested. The experience was so unpleasant that we decided to check out 5 days early and go elsewhere. The night we decided we'd be checking out the next morning, we spoke to someone at the front desk who told us that that was okay and they would advise AAVacations to refund us for the rest of our stay. The morning of checkout they sang a different tune, saying it was up to AAVacations to make that decision. I contacted AAV upon returning home and they said the resort is refusing to okay the refund. Finding out these people can't be trusted was absolutely no surprise to me. The rooms are very old and dated with lime or calcium buildup in the shower heads, dysfunctioning AC, closet doors falling off, a leaking toilet, and outlets that didn't work just to name a few. The gym is run down as well with lots of janky equipment. The property wifi was also really bad. There was even a smoke detector low battery beeping throughout the night and we heard it throughout the morning as we checked out. There are many nice places in Barbados. Accra is not one.

My ocean view was a more a pool view, wasn't much of the ocean so I'll will not waste my money again and just book the island view - which is the main road view.

I stayed here on a business trip. Perfect and convenient with lots of restaurants in walking distance. This hotel is situated on my favorite beach and the swimming is incredible.

They changed rooms without notification. They had ant infestation in my room and I was on the 3rd floor.

Terrible customer service. Had to ask several times repeatedly for towels, to fix a broken closet door etc.

The roam was clean, but not inviting , It had no water , note pad , no room service menu was provided.
