The view and scenery of the hotel is excellent , is quiet and peaceful and food is very good too. Although the choice of buffet breakfast is limited. The swimming pool provides warm water and also have sauna and steam bath

The hotel is in a beautiful location. But the room is very tired and not clean at all. We found thick dust on the bedside tables.

Room was freezing cold on arrival, heating put on but ineffective due to loose window. Could not work on laptop as so cold and slept clothed. Asked for portable heater to be told you're unlucky theyve all gone out to other guests. Staff tried and I was credited with my evening meal, however this only benefits my employrr who pays the bill. Would say in every other way was fine and wpuld return but only in Summer

Excellent service from the staff on every occasion, the hotel is aged but still operating, Our room was separate from the main hotel building where the restaurant, spa and other facilities were located, in an out building. The location is commutable to cotswold but still a good half an hour drive to most attractions.

Wonderful stay at Cricklade House Hotel, I would highly recommend it. Very cosy and clean room, the Spa was well equipped and nice and clean too. We had dinner and the food was first class, so was the breakfast. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

It’s a great property. Great rooms and service. I was bothered with thing, where they charged us 10 bucks extra for a 15 mins late checkout. My concern was 1) we weren’t informed of such charges beforehand 2) hotel was mercenary in this rule/ decision and didn’t take into account the minute genuine delay. I’d have given 5 stars otherwise.

Room was dirty, bathroom had mould and the whole place needs refurbishment. I arrived at 9:30 in the evening and room service had stopped, the kitchen was closed. I got some water from the bar and the glass they gave me was dirty. I do not ever moan about my stays but honesty I felt the need to on this occasion.

The hotel I think has seen better days, some of the communal areas and bathroom are tired but the room was neat enough. Our room desperately needed blackout blinds, they let too much light in, it’s a hotel no brainer… the waiters at breakfast may have been new but didn’t understand my request for a black coffee, also apparently didn’t have decaf tea or herbal teas?! Breakfast was lovely otherwise. I also couldn’t buy a glass of sparkling wine at the bar, it had to be a bottle, so overall the service was lacking. Spa was very nice!! New facilities and treatment rooms spacious and quiet

Comfy clean bed, filthy carpet tho, had a courtyard room. Great facilities, pool and spa are lovely. Staff all very friendly and food was great lots of options and plenty of allergen awareness and gluten free options for my Wife.
