We stayed 3 nights. No one at front desk at check in, they knew we were coming. I asked front desk a few questions on final day about if there was a place to store our luggage in the park before we took the train, she said no, correct answer is yes at the visitors center $1 per hour. I asked which bus stop do we get off for train, she said bus stop in park, wrong correct answer visitors center. Not sure how after 5 months she was this clueless. On Our final night we were in room C4 next to employees and hotel laundry room, they washed their boots and washers ran for hours, no sleep for us. On day of check out, which was also their last day of the season they shut the tv service off. Check out was surpose to be 11 but upon check in we were told 10 am. Bed was worn out. We paid $250 a night for this. A couple of good things if you go before the end of season there is a boardwalk of stores and probably one of the only places that has a fridge and microwave in the room.

The hotel is a gloried motel 6 and the 2nd night there was so much noise and traffic on the road it was hard to sleep. No elevator so we being both 67 had to lug our suitcases up all the stairs 10 or 12 to the 2nd floor. No one offered to help us out. Plus when we were to be picked up the guy had someone else take us and this other guy forgot us and was helping other people at another location while we sat in the van. It took us over 1 1/4 to get to the hotel--normally a 10 minute ride.

The staff gave us a code for the lock to our room. When we left for dinner, we realized the door lock wasn’t working. The heater in the room was a joke. There was one small old chair in the room, we had to ask for one more chair, the staff had to ask for permission from her boss. The pillows and sheets were yellowish and old. We could not get a good night sleep. The noise level from outside traffic was also bad. The mattress should also be replaced. They left two paper cups in the room , not wrapped or covered. We didn’t feel comfortable using them, luckily we had some of our own.

The room was spacious, but the bed and bedding was terrible. There was no couch or chair, no air conditioning (other than a noisy oscillating fan), the lighting was poor, it was noisy from the creaky stairs and flooring from the level above us), and the entrance ramp (for our ADA room) was uneven, and my wife’s wheelchair could not negotiate it. The parking area was rough gravel, and uneven. Again, not ADA friendly. We had booked two nights, but left after one simply forfeiting our payment for the second night. The bathroom WAS appropriate for a disabled person, and the office personnel were anxious to make it work for us. We will not return their, and can’t in good conscience recommend it.

First the motel is deceiving – the picture of the building is actually for a shopping stores and the motel is on the back of the building looking shabby. When checked in the motel room, we noticed the dusty on TV, windowsill, & a small table. The room smells a strange odor, very uncomfortable. Then the bathroom had only 3 towels. The room stated on the ********** allow 4 people to stay, why only has 3 towels? When I checked beds found out hair on one of the bed, just awful. We went to the check-in desk which is outside the building in a hut, but the office was closed already around 5:30pm. There is a sign on the wall in the bathroom saying if you need towels replenished leaving the used towel on the floor. Since we had a tour in the national park, we left towels on the floor hoping will be replaced with clean towels. At evening, upon returning to the room, there was no room cleaning, beds are not cleaned, trash cans not emptied, and no towels replenished… the used towels were on the floor. I went to the office and again it is closed.

Pros: Located very close to Denali National Park Entrance Cons: Terrible room. Terrible service. High prices. There are other places (across the street) that are much nicer, provide better service and charge less.

Some if the front desk staff were very rude and didnt want to help out .i used the laundry facilities stopped at iffice for quarters and soap asked staff where it was she told me but never told me about a ode to get in when i walked back to office and asked how it works she said well you need a code to get in i said why didnt you tell me before she stated you didnt Sk and you should have known,another day another staff member named Suzanna was also rude and didnt want to help me .but i did have 3 of the staff that were very polite and were willing to go above thier job to help out

Inside the room was a pleasant surprise to what it looked like outside
