My stay has been absolutely wonderful. Mary is the perfect host. She spent time with us explaining different walks we can take, giving local recommendations and her attention to detail was really impressive. We had a lovely breakfast made every morning where she carefully catered to individual needs (lactose free). The room was comfortable and the surroundings picturesque. If you are wanting a quiet trip away with beautiful scenery, don’t hesitate to book Mary’s place! There is also only one more room in the B&B meaning there’s a lot of privacy and attention to the guest. 🌸

Wonderful stay! Homely vibes. Loved the hospitality of Mary. Breakfast needs were considered and facilitated well. She knew the history behind the place we stayed, lovely and welcoming to chat about it. Will definitely visit again.

Excellent accommodation. Very clean and comfy. Lovely cooked breakfast. Mary, the Host was lovely and was happy to chat and is knowledgeable about the area. Would definitely book again. We arrived when foggy and drove straight past. You need to look for the white sign on the side of the road, and the cottage is a few yards up a muddy track.

Just returned from a wonderful weekend at Orchard House. Mary is the perfect host and made us feel at home immediately. The accommodation and facilities are first class, huge en suite room and a great comfy bed. Breakfast is provided with local ingredients, fantastic sausages, and cooked to perfection. We’ve been coming to the area for many years but Mary was able recommended visits that we’d not been to before. Try a visit to the local pub, the Clarendon, good food and a**osphere. Mary even provides torches for your walk home in the dark! If you want a stress free few days, this is place! Already looking to coming back Thanks Mary.

We have just enjoyed a perfect relaxing 2 night stay at Orchard House which is owned by Mary. The accommodation is spotless and the breakfast was excellent with incredible attention to detail by Mary to ensure that her guests are comfortable. Mary shared her knowledge of the local area and the walks from the door of Orchard House which are easily accessible as well as recommending the local pub and The Old School Tea Room where we enjoyed excellent food. We will definitely stay at Orchard House again.

A fabulously located B&B, which was immaculate & good value. Great for walks - we did the 5 mile circular one into Grassington on our one day here. Mary our host was very attentive & breakfast was good. Lovely, friendly pub in the village (The Clarendon Hotel), serving excellent food.

Mary made us feel very welcome. I think she has thought out every eventuality and has enthusiastic local knowledge. The accommodation is great, the breakfast lovely and the locality stunning. We would totally recommend orchard house.

This is an excellent place to stay. Mary is a lovely hostess and the location is great, close to Grassington, yet peaceful and quiet. The facilities are first-class as are the breakfasts! Thoroughly recommended .

Great place to stay in Hendon. Quiet and scenic. Lovely host and great breakfast. The room was comfortable and bathroom spacious. All in all a cosy relaxing place to y. Would definitely return to Orchard House. :-)
