Really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and clean. It had everything you needed with extra touches, such as fresh milk and straighteners, that make all the difference. We ate in the restaurant on one night and the food was delicious. Thank you!

What a fantastic stay even though it was just one night!! The bed was very comfortable, the room n bathroom was very clean but the only thing I will say is that the chair could use some tlc and the rug under the bed needs to be professionally cleaned to remove stains. The coffee in the room was delicious but not having an espresso machine, I wasn’t quite sure how to use it. The radiator in the bathroom needs some attention. I had forgotten my charger plug n they very kindly gave me one to borrow. Would certainly recommend it n looking forward to staying again in June and having the amazing quality breakfast. 5*

Very nice room and breakfast. Evening meal very average, bearing in mind it is labelled a Gastropub I expected a lot more.

I ordered food from hotel - the duck was not edible as overcooked - I was told it comes in pre-cooked so nothing could be done. We were given packed breakfast which went in the fridge in the room which turned out heated the contents so not only was the milk solid all the yoghurt, sandwiches and our entire picnic for next day event was ruined over night. Very noisy as previous reviews warned as you hear everything from pub terrace.

Absolutely amazing stay. Could not do enough for us and the food was outstanding. The room had everything from coffee machine to hair straightener. Comfortable and spotless (yes I even looked under the bed!) if you need to go for a stay or food you can’t go wrong.

A fine: good tea./coffee making in the room. Good food and drink. But noisy in evenings until after 11pm (from the garden/patio - just 3 metres away from the room). It would be useful to have a curtain over the door. Asked for an iron. Not delivered.

Lovely welcome by staff who insisted on checking that the room was perfect before we got the keys. The room was just that, ‘perfect’. The room is well appointed, beautifully decorated, the bed very comfortable with lots of pillows. There a lovely large dressing table with good lighting, lots of electrical points. There’s a safe for belongings which is a good size. Plenty of storage for clothes, a hanging rail and shelves. The bathroom is gorgeous, beautifully tiled in white with quality toiletries, shower powerful and lots of hot water. I love this place as they’ve paid attention to the things that makes your stay special, like a quality coffee machine as well as a kettle, quality coffee and tea; they even put a fancy glass bottle of milk in the fridge! There’s also an umbrella 🌂 just in case; I’m not sure what else they could’ve thought of? Thank you for a super stay 👏

I loved it. Staff were lovely and understanding. The packed continental breakfast is good quality, tasty and you get quite a variety of items. The bed is very comfy.

Outside seating area to close to the cabin window allowing people to see into the bedroom making it very noisy late into the evenings.
