放鬆海灘酒店(At Ease Beach Hotel)

Nice place. Friendly staff. Breakfast menu does not contain fish/meat. If you order these, you're charged extra. In my friend's room the AC had busted. They promised to give a discount but pretended they never offered this at the time of checkout. My friends had to pay for an AC room without AC. The receptionist and hotel owner were not even apologetic about the shortcoming. Very disappointing

Så himla bra hotell för avkoppling och strandhäng! Superfint läge, trevlig och hjälpsam personal och bara en kort tuktuk-tur bort från centrala hikkaduwa eller Galle. Stranden här var mycket bättre än den i centrala hikkaduwa eftersom den var både lugnare och bredare.

Unfortunately, we arrived with a virus which only got worse so didn’t get to fully experience the hotel facilities or surroundings. The weather was also terrible. Our children did have a quick swim in the pool when the rain stopped. During our brief stay we found the staff to be incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good, eggs/toast/jam/fruit/tea/coffee and waffles for the kids. The room was adequate although being stuck in our room we would have liked Wi-Fi and more UK-style plugs as we have found elsewhere in Sri Lanka (there was only one). Bathroom was great, room was clean and beds comfortable. We live in Colombo and would definitely consider staying again when the weather is better and hopefully we are in better health! It was the perfect stay!!! We loved everything!!! Our two boys (4 and 7 years) felt very happy from the first minute on!!! It‘s in a quite area, but still very close to town. Right on the beach with a great pool to have fun and relax!!! Thank you for everything!!!

We booked a family room but when checking in we offered a Seaside room. Seaside room with the sound of waves to lull you to sleep. Nice beach front pool. Breakfast was simple, really good scrambled eggs. But the staff! I swear they work 24/7 and go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possble. We would definitely stay here again.

We came for the weekend from Colombo and were really impressed with At Ease. It's simply but thoughtfully designed with subtle stylish touches and has a great location at the quiet end of the beach. The staff were super friendly and helpful, going out of their way to meet our needs (such as sourcing a non-slip showermat for my elderly father!). Breakfast was simple but very tasty and the cocktails were great! We had a seaview room and a family room, both of which were comfortable and equipped with the basic needs. It was ideal for our family group.

At Ease Beach Hotel has a beautiful location on the beachfront. It is located 20 mins from Hikkaduwa hot spots which makes the stay very quite and calm, and as a result you have the beach for yourself. Unfortunately, we experienced an unpleasant stay due to some external customers that came for a beer to a family hotel instead of a pub. While trying to enjoy the beautiful swimming pool at the hotel, these customers were behaving inappropriately and made me feel unsafe. I talked to the staff at the reception, explaining that these people shouldn’t be let inside when the hotel claims to be peaceful stay for families. This situation could have been resolved, if my request was heard and understood. But the next day I saw the same people drinking beer again. I ended up not using the pool anymore as I didn’t feel safe there. We paid a lot of money to stay there and in our opinion it can‘t be that they sell their guests‘ well-being for a few beers. Very sorry for the staff since they were always friendly and met our needs, except the situation explained above in which their complaint management failed. I‘m writing this review in order to notify the owners (Dinesh and Merete)/management since I‘m not sure our complaint reached them (as nobody came to us). If they can handle such things in the future, I can recommend the place

Good value for money. Great service and facilities but some mould visible on the room ceiling (something we noticed in a few different Sri Lankan 3-star hotels).

Мне всё очень понравилось! чудесное расположение вдали от шумной и суетливой Хикадувы, при этом до всех ресторанов и магазинов пару минут на байке, либо 10-15 минут пешком. Очень камерное место с вежливым персоналом.
