勞德代爾堡W酒店(W Fort Lauderdale)

THE HOTEL DID NUMEROUS UNAUTHORISED CHARGES ON MY CARD TOTALLY $1,000!!! AND I’M STILL TRYING TO RECOVER THIS!! Watch out for the charges on your card. Pool area tiles are dirty. Bath water is yellow!! I suggest you stay at the Hilton next door. (I did wonder why on other booking sites the review scores were low in comparison to neighbouring hotels - unfortunately I didn’t take heed!!!)

Worst experience & Horrible advertisement… Only water view was the Rain . Never again

We got to the hotel to find out the main pool would be closed for august which is one of the main reasons I picked this hotel so super disappointing. Everytime we would call for issues no one would come. No cord for the Bluetooth speaker, no one came. Fridge not cold, no one came. No one serviced our room for trash and towels had to call, and once again no one came so we threw everything out in the hall until someone passing by happened to stop and do it for us. Will never stay here again!

My review is a little late but My husband and I with our 2 kids, stayed at the W and we had a great experience. We were there the last week of July. We stayed for 8 days. The hotel is beautiful, very upscale. Lots of amenities. From when we checked in, everyone was super nice. We had a great view of the beach from our Balcony. We stayed on the 21st floor and our floor was very quiet. Our room was very clean, always smelled good as soon as you would walk out of the elevator into the hallways. Hotel was very clean. Our room was always serviced. The room was super nice. Great access to the beach. Valet service was great, everyone was super nice. We did not eat at the hotel though because it was pretty pricey. Overall we had a great experience and definitely would return back to the W in the future.

Very disappointed in this hotel stay. This is supposed to be a luxury resort and it was not close to that at all. They only had one elevator working so you have to wait 20 Minutes just to get to your room. Also, poor service by the pool no one brought the towels or chair covers, towels had stains on it. In the suite there was hardly any lighting, AC only goes to a certain temperature so we were freezing in the room, took four hours for us to receive our linen and towels/pillows etc. I could go on…. Very disappointed and will not be staying here again!!!

AC did not work at arrival, had to wait an hour for the engineer to arriva than another hour for him to work on it, after left room was still very hot and all night never got better, bed sheets had haor on it, probably was not changed when we arrived and blanket had smudges on it, could not make the room dark, curtains dont close properly, on the other side has no dark curtain at all, could not sleep since it was hot the whole night.

For the price per night, I would expect more. The property itself is beautiful and the restaurants are great. The rooms are not worth what you pay for. -There are fixtures in the rooms that are scratched, scuffed, and/or chipped and it makes the room look cheap -The rooms are not cleaned thoroughly (bedding is not consistently changed, towels/washcloths are not consistently replenished, some surfaces are not wiped down, and the surfaces that are wiped seemed to be cleaned with a dirty rag) -No furniture on the balcony -The AC was not comfortable. The rooms had a cold humidity which is hard to sleep in and get comfortable in. I had better quality rooms in more affordable hotels. I was looking forward to the quality of this hotel but I was disappointed by the upkeep. The staff was friendly so I don’t blame them. I just think that management needs to address these issues and make sure that the quality of the rooms aligns with the price. Restaurants on-site are fantastic though.

I had a cool corner unit & when I checked in it smelled like mildew , I had to go buy a candle to keep the room smelling good. The water was yellow on the first shower & there was hair in my tub. It also advertises internet television & doesn’t have it.
