After a death in the family, we wanted to decompress for the weekend. We chose this hotel, because the website and ******* says there’s a pool, jacuzzi, room service, and a main restaurant. After we checked-in, we were told that there’s no room service & that the main dining room is only for breakfast. The next morning we went to use the jacuzzi, but it was out of service with police tape wrapped all around it. The pool was extremely worn. Moe, at the front desk never told us that the jacuzzi was out of order when we checked-in- even after I mentioned that I couldn’t wait to use it. When we expressed our disappointment with the false advertising, Moe snickered and said, “Tell ya what I’ll do. I’ll take off $20.” I then went to Letia (sp?) the manager who was very understanding and allowed us to check-out without penalty. Between the false advertising and Moe’s sarcastic unprofessional behavior, we had a horrible time. I feel we should get our money back for the first night, because everything we came to the hotel for was not there, because it was us being falsely advertised.
