幸運鐵匠旅館(Hotel Gluecksschmiede)

Wir waren für ein Wochenende im Hotel. Der Check in war schnell. Man hat auch gleich gefragt ob sie das Auto in die Parkgarage stellen sollen (€20 pro Tag). Das Zimmer war auch für 3 Personen geräumig und roch nach Holz. Großer Balkon. Badezimmer konnte man zwar nur durch einen Vorhang abteilen aber störte nicht. Sehr sauber. Frühstück geht bis halb 11 was nach einer Nacht in Hinterglemm dringend nötig ist. Auswahl ist wirklich gut, lecker Brot, Leberkäse und und und. Jeder hat seinen eigenen Tisch was ich auch gut fand. Alle Mitarbeiter sind freundlich. Lage ist super-mitten im Dorf, nicht weit vom Skilift. Was ich vl bemängeln könnte wäre die viele viele Deko im ganzen Haus aber das sind Kleinigkeiten. Nachmittagsjause gab es auch - das Frankfurter Würstl war allerdings ein Reinfall.

Schöne und stilvolle Zimmer! Gute Lage, mitten im Dorf, kurze Wege zum Lift. Auch das Essen in der Fuhrmannstube war sehr gut! Service und Personal gut und sehr freundlich! Spitzen Burger und das Wild war der Hammer!!! Hausskitag sollte man nicht verpassen!!

Mysigt hotell med gammal stil. Väldigt lyhört både mot gatan och korridoren. Saknade helt miljötänk och trots att vi hängde upp handdukarna så byttes de varje dag.

Cannot believe the lowish Tripadvisor rating as we love this place. We ski all over Europe and we really like this hotel. Good rooms, superb breakfast, friendly staff. Good spa area and swimming pool too. What’s not to like? Central location in Hinterglemm. Very Austrian establishment ( a plus in our eyes ).

First time to Austria with my 12 year old son on his first ski holiday. I booked the Gluekschmiede because of its central location and facilities. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the lady on reception who gave us our room key (118). The room was typically Austrian, wood panelling, authentic lighting and dual aspect windows so bright and airy. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The room overlooked the Main Street which isn’t heavy with traffic. The only problem we had was the noisy outdoor bar right outside the window. I understand that people are here for a good time but the music was so loud and all of the Sing-a-long variety. They even broke out the “do you wanna be in my gang”…. Yes, Gary Glitter!! I mentioned to reception that I wasn’t happy with loud music at nearly 1 am from the bar which is attached to the hotel. She said she would have a word. The next night I gave it till 10pm and had had enough. We were given another room, apologies and more promises that this wouldn’t happen again. Despite being across the other side of the hotel in a much quieter room (104) we could still hear it just, but it wasn’t a problem. The hotel has a really nice pool and spa area with saunas and massage treatment room. We swam nearly every day, lording it up in our red robes and green slippers, a nice touch. There is also a boot room with boot driers and a ski locker allocated to each room. The location is perfect, situated across the street from the helpful intersport for ski and boot hire. There are gondolas within very close walking distance to get you off and away skiing. The ski are is good. Most blue runs are similar if not easier than the reds so don’t let the reds put you off. Navigating is quite easy. We found using the LÄSSIG app was great. Using piste numbers and also lift numbers to get around on piste. My son and I had a great time. We were lucky with the weather, sun mist days. Towards the end of the week some runs were closing on the south facing valley. Breakfast is buffet style, plentiful and of very good quality. Eating out isn’t cheap. Glass of Fanta €6, sausage and chips €20. For a lunch on the mountain and a meal at night 100-150 euros for 2 can be expected. I recommend the scampi salad in the dodo restaurant. Would I recommend it…. Yes, just not room 118.

Lovely staff, very clean room

Aangezien restaurant Hornox wat bij dit hotel hoort geen TripAdvisor pagina heeft, even op deze manier. Onvriendelijke bediening, calamaris op de kaart zeker niet nemen, belachelijk wat ze daarvoor durven te vragen voor een paar kleine stukjes en er zit geen smaak aan. Club steak was taai, weinig smaakvol. Toen we besloten geen fooi te geven omdat dit ook niet verdiend was kregen we een chagarijnig gezicht en geen gedag. 1ste maar laatste keer hier!

L'hotel è nel pieno centro della località sciistica di Saalbach-Hinterglemm, nel pieno della zona pedonale. La struttura si mostra subito come piacevole e curata. In realtà, le stanze anche se molto spaziose (nel nostro caso una suite) mostrano un po' troppo il segno dell'età, necessiterebbero di un leggero rinfresco (es. arredi). La colazione è abbondante. La nota peggiore è il fatto che dopo le 20:00 la reception è assolutamente abbandonata; se è vero che questo è un problema comune in Austria, sarebbe gradito che strutture di un certo livello mantenessero un minimo di presidio per eventuali richieste degli ospiti.
