伊薩菲傑杜爾霍恩酒店(Hotel Isafjordur - Horn)

Petit hôtel en 2 eme ligne par rapport au port, à côté du Netto. Chambre rénovée spacieuse avec salon et terrasse commune . Les points négatifs: isolation phonique par rapport à l’extérieur inexistante, les clefs et le petit dej sont à prendre à l’hôtel isafjordur a 250m. Arrivés un peu plus tôt, on est passés voir si la chambre était prête , la rectionniste n’a même pas vérifié et nous a sèchement dit de revenir à 15h… pas très sympa. Sinon petit dej très bien.

Unique hotel in the middle of Isafjordur. It almost looked like a former hostel that had been renovated into a hotel. We had a large charming room with mountain and water views. The bathroom was old fashioned but spacious. Very quiet property, comfortable bed, decent curtains (although the room could have stood to be darker at night). Only two quibbles—the scary elevator was really intimidating, and both check-in and breakfast were down the street. This mattered a bit, as it was very windy and rainy when we arrived and on the following morning. That said, it was a pleasant stay. I’d probably book it again.

Hôtel très bien situé, plein "centre ville", propre et avec un excellent petit déjeuner (inclus). Par contre, les chambres de 4 sont vraiment petites (pour 4), et les 2 qui dormiront dans le canapé seront vraiment punis....

We had to check in at a sister hotel, a block from the facility we were staying . The facility we stayed at was unattended. Required a code to enter our hotel. Parking was very limited. Our room was spacious. Bathroom quite small. In the morning, we walked a block to have breakfast at the sister hotel.

Tout d'abord, il faut savoir qu'il y'a 3 à 4 établissements qui semblent avoir le même propriétaire. Nous étions au "Horn" mais la réception est au "Torg". Du coup le rez de chaussée du bâtiment du Horn fait un peu post cataclysme ! Néanmoins, il y'a canapés et fauteuils en partie commune de chaque étage (3 niveaux en tout). L'ascenseur ressemble plutôt à un monté chargé avec nécessité de maintenir appuyé le bouton que ce soit pour l'appeler ou pour accéder à l'étage souhaité. Cz surprend mais bon ça fonctionne. Concernant les chambres, elles sont sobres, plutôt impersonnelles, mais assez spacieuses et confortables. Le petit déjeuner se prend au Torg à 200 metres environs (temps sec et doux plus agréable...) et propose un bon choix de produits sous forme de buffet.

Un peu vieillot. Literie "out". Salle de bain bof. Accueil gentil. Globalement bof. Triste. Rideaux non occultant parking insuffisant. Petit déjeuner correct sans plus . Parfait pour les cars de touristes moins pour les individuels.

This is a hotel that was once a Hotel (1980) Agree with previous correspondent. Trouble is the Nordic Visitor booked us in to the Hotel Horn ( gored blimey !… get the joke ?) without telling us about the fact it is really an old hotel with no services. That is no front desk . First thing I noticed is that they need to clean the windows. The room spacious, beds comfortable and bathroom is ok . No restaurant in the Hotel Horn but there is one at its big sister called the Hotel Isafjordur Torg. So folks be sure to stay at the Torg and not the Horn or you may be on the horns of a dilemma when you arrive. You get 10% discount on food at Torg because you were so good and brave to stay at the Horn !!!

The check was at a different hotel, but the email used a different hotel name than Google or other maps show and did not provide directions, just the comment "a short walking distance". It would be helpful to list all names the hotel goes by and to give specific address instructions for check in.
