We had no hot water in our room for the two nights that we stayed there. We were offered a different room but it was on the second day late the afternoon early evening and we didn’t feel like moving by that time so we were given the option to walk to a different room and use a shower there. The safety light at the top of the stairs didn’t work and so it was very dark and didn’t seem super secure. Other than that it’s lovely.

Lack of parking, no carts to help with luggage, and noise from trains take away from a great room with a great view

Our "partial view" was no view at all. Worth checking with the hotel for details prior to selecting a room. Also--no one was at the front desk for a good 10-15 minutes when we arrived--no way to check in. In general: very comfortable king-sized bed, fine bathroom/linens, not too much else.

Not worth the money! View was misrepresented!!! Bed like sleeping on floor. 2nd floor walk up with suitcase not accessible. Parking not convenient

My hubby and I stopped here for a night on our way back from the coast. Such a beautiful end to our trip. Already thinking of taking a trip back to Hood River to stay here and do more exploring in the area! Highly recommend!

Very nicely appointed, well insulated from the highway, and a nice home away from home feeling.

I think it depends entirely on what room you are assigned to. Looking at reviews, I see that people staying in the suites are entirely satisfied, while those relegated to the one-offs are basically pretty disappointed. I was in a room that was a part of a suite, separated by a door with a do not disturb sign. I could hear everything on the other side if the door. I had a view of the highway. Even with the windows closed, the highway noise was significant. The room was approximately 13x13, no microwave, fridge, etc. parking is very limited and initially parked behind another building, quite a distance away. Very clean and nice linens and towels and friendly staff. My car got a much better view than I did. It seems 3rd party sellers are utilized to sell these rooms off, despite almost certain disappointment.

Great location and very nice staff! Clean and modern decor. Missed having a refrigerator.
