漢普郡四季酒店(Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire)

Pretty bad service, late check in time meant I was carrying my bags a long distance, no signage meant it was incredibly difficult to find my room, light switches hidden in the bedroom, no info as to gym opening, breakfast timing etc. a poor imitation of service from this brand in the US and ultimately not relaxing because of it. It was a business trip so my costs were covered otherwise I would have been more upset but eg an omelette was an eye watering £50 for breakfast.

This is a lovely property especially for families with small children .We enjoyed our stay and would like to go back . Rooms are nicely decorated and large, the spa and the gym are good there is a large bar and restaurant . The food (dinner)needs to be better for this standard.Staff are very helpful and professional. Enjoyed clay pigeon shooting and gastro pubs nearby The Mutton and Game Keeper's. Nice walking areas nearby.

Consistently excellent. When you reach this level of service (Only Four Seasons Hampshire have so far and i have travelled a lot), you can't get any better so maintaining this level is exceptional. Always feel at home here - even the great team said welcome home when we arrived - lovely touch. Everything was brilliant and not a single fault at all - this place thrives on perfection and delivers each time. Every single member of the great team addressed us personally. Dining, Spa, hotel grounds all out of this world - can't wait to return again next Christmas. In the meantime we especially make a 2 hour round trip throughout the year just to dine as the food, service and ambience is that awesome and brings back lovely memories. This is why the Standard paper rated this as the best hotel in the UK for Christmas. Managed by Yogesh - true gentleman - you can see why the team is so great. Room service, thank you to Andrea who checked up on us to make sure we enjoyed our room service one evening - which of course was very tasty and fresh. My son had the battered fish and it was perfect - not greasy, just cooked and perfect to eat whilst still at a very nice temperature. Overall, always left fully satisfied - this is a dream place with great people. Thank you The Manders

Went to visit on 7th December for drinks and with the view to booking a family occasion but was told the library was shut but coffee was still available in the drawing room. Myself and my mother in law ordered a coffee and cappuccino, only to be told they would have to serve these drinks to us in takeaway disposable cups even though we were sitting inside. Also we ordered a pastry and cake only to be told by the waitress to get up and help ourselves.. extremely disappointed with the customer service and the lack of making us feel welcome.. We were looking to book a family meal for a large group for the new year hence the visit. However, we left very disappointed and without any coffee or cake. Not what we expected as our previous visits have been amazing.

Abbiamo soggiornato per 2 notti in questa struttura a novembre 2023 . Tutto semplicemente al top . L’accoglienza e l’attenzione all’ospite sono sempre ai massimi livelli . La nostra stanza era molto grande e spaziosa , con un letto king size con materassi che meritano una menzione per la qualità e la comodità . Presente anche un Divano letto e piccolo angolo relax .tv 40 pollici con davvero tutti i canali principali inglesi ed europei ( Sky uk sport è visibile gratuitamente) il bagno è enorme con spazi separati per il wc e per la doccia . È presente la moquette come in tutte le strutture inglesi . Parlando della struttura è davvero unica . Situata in una tenuta che è possibile percorrere tranquillamente a piedi per esplorarla , stupendi i giardini e molto caratteristiche le scuderie dove se volete potete effettuare una passeggiata a cavallo . Abbiamo anche usufruito del room service per colazione e cene. Tutto di ottimo livello dal sevizio al cibo . Ultimo consiglio , se viaggiate in auto cercate di non arrivare al calar del sole perché le strade dell’’Hampshire sono davvero molto molto buie e le indicazioni non sempre chiare .

We booked a 3 night stay for some luxury R&R. Our room was lovely but too hot at 23°C (on a hot day). Whilst killing time before our booked Afternoon Tea, we availed ourselves of the 20 minute horse drawn carriage ride around a small part of the extensive grounds. Not sure that we would have done, however, had we known that it would set us back £120 ! Tea was quite the worst - and most expensive - we have ever eaten - anywhere! 1 glass of Champagne was £19. The sandwiches were the sp****st filled joke. The fillings read well on paper but the reality was that there was so little filling it was virtually impossible to discern exactly what we were eating. The tiny cakes (dessert) were very pretty & the warm scones, large & doughy. The worst part of the scone experience was that the cream was not 'clotted' but just slighty whipped cream. The strawberry 'jam' looked like the pink foam you would skim off the top of the boiling fruit whilst making the jam & tasted of absoloutely nothing. The lemon curd - well, wasn't curd! The finalé was a 'tea cake' - but not as we know it. Not a hot, buttered fruity bun but a slice of a dense loaf flavoured with apricot & lavender! And this for £136.85!!! At dinner in La Terrazza we were served starters of Buffalo Mozzarella with Organic Tomatoes & Rocket leaves. Not as you might expect in a 5 star hotel, a delicate presentation of sliced cheese & tomatoes but a large bowl in which was a pile of rocket leaves, in the middle of which was a whole mozzarella ball, surrounding which were two large pale & tasteles tomatoes simply cut into quarters! So lacking in finesse, it was breathtaking. This was followed by a pizza each which were poor, at best, with soggy middles & sp**** toppings. I was charged an additional £6.00 for 3 anchovy fillets. We had a beer each and the bill was £98.90. Breakfast next day was a spectacular spread. There was everything imaginable, across a huge expanse of service area, including falafel which gave us the final clue that this was not a Candian 4 Seasons (or English) run hotel, but Arab owned & run. Breakfast at £40 a head seems excessive because whilst there was a huge selection of things on offer, even the greediest of people can only consume so much at one sitting which would explain why we saw people loading up napkins & taking food out with them - the only way to come anywhere near getting value for money. Our one dinner taken in the Wild Carrot restaurant cost in excess of £216, was adequate to reasonable but not noteworthy. Having asked for the airconditioning in our room to be adjusted by the engineers (as it was pre-set & could not be changed by us), it never happened so we roasted at 23°C all night every night in spite of opening the window, the crack permitted! Apart from that one issue, one could not fault the service offered by the extremely large staff at this hotel. Came for dinner last night (Sunday). Had the most amazing food and service. Fresh, elegant and tasty. Lovely surrounding and ambience. Special thanks yo the Exec Chef Talha who goes out of his way to come and say hello to us and makes things happen. Always so kind and wanting to please and delivers the best food! Four seasons Hampshire never disappoints. You always feel incredibly welcomed and looked after throughout your stay. Staff go above and beyond to ensure your experience is nothing but perfect. Cannot recommend enough.

Perfect hotel for a short break. Personnel and service are simply perfect. Very good restaurant and cocktails at the bar. The breakfast offers lots of different choices (sugar and salt), fresh fruits, cereals and wonderful yogurts. Do not miss Four Seasons' scones with cream : they are simply delicious.
